After completing their two-week orientation process, we want to welcome aboard five of your newest Krum Firefighters! These new hires have spent the past two weeks being introduced to the department, the city, and the citizens of Krum! Various members, past and present, of our department taught these recruits a wealth of knowledge!

The lessons they were taught included the Krum Fire Department history, the importance of physical fitness, EMS operations and skills, fire behavior, building construction, Wildland fire operations, vehicle extrication, district familiarization, hose loads and deployments, and so much more!

We want to thank All American Towing and Recovery for the donation of two vehicles, Medical City of Denton for their staff and tour of their facility, retired Fire Chief Ken Swindle for assisting with teaching, and the countless members of Krum Firefighters who assisted in teaching these new hires in their off time!

Please help up in welcome these five new recruits, and their families, to the Krum Firefighters family!
