Last year, I started my business and along this journey there has been a lot of trial and error and lessons learned.

I had to do a lot of things that made me so uncomfortable but I honestly learned the most from those challenges.

One thing I have been wanting and planning to do is macramé workshops, and I am so excited to announce the first of hopefully many.

With a new baby expected at the end of April, I know I won’t be able to make it to as many Spring pop-up/market events as I did in 2022 so I am adjusting my game plan for 2023.

Public Workshops, Private Parties and online & custom orders will be my focus for this year.

February 25th will be my first beginner-friendly Macramé Workshop at 📍

I have some new followers so I wanted to take a minute to share a few fun facts about me:

1. I am newly married to aka .point.inc and a mama to an 18 month old boy, Owen, and we are expecting our second, a baby girl, in April. I’m also a step mama to Caleb (13) and Cayden (11) who make the best big bruh bruh and sissy.

2. My college nickname was Henn, Henny, HennyD - not because of a love for Hennessy. It came from pronouncing Jenn with a silent/Spanish-like J. I always love a good play on words so naturally, given my nickname, my handmade business was named HennMade.

3. Many people assume I am Hispanic given my darker complexion, and even though I took 5 years of Spanish in school I cannot carry a conversation in any language other than English.

I actually thought I was part Hawaiian for about 25 years of my life and was stunned to learn that I’m just Filipino and White, not Hawaiian at all. My mom was born in Hawaii and we still have family there so can you blame me for assuming I was of Hawaiian heritage? Haha 🤷🏽‍♀️ Proud Hapa nonetheless.
