Missing my mom. 💔 A very dear friend of mine sent me this note just 15 days before my mom passed away. At the time, I had no idea that the end of her life here on earth was so near. It has brought me an immense amount of peace as I grieve her loss. When I wonder if we could or should have done anything different, if we could have done something to delay losing her, it reminds me that God has numbered our days and that He already knew that April 14th, 2024, would be the day that she would enter into glory, healed and whole, delivered from her brutal disease. Grateful to have friends that hear from the Lord and boldly proclaim truth over my life and the lives of my loved ones.

I’ve been missing her for a long time now. 💔

My moms service will be on June 15th, 11am at Mountain Bible church in Payson Az. We can’t wait to celebrate her life.

This is Carol, she is 87 years old and sharp as a whip. She is one of several women that invested in me as a high school student. She had us over for lunch, went to camp with us and even played all the silly youth group games. So so thankful for her! Praying everyone has a carol in their life!

Happy birthday You are ….strategic, intentional, inspirational and disciplined. I admire your drive and your absolute grace for people (especially towards those who’ve hurt you. ) I love your desire to be present with the lord and your love for His people.You serve me unconditionally and I feel seen and known by you. Your willingness to play with Bru at nausea makes me so happy. You are an expert at resting. I love how you delight in playing golf with your friends, watching sports on the couch, making the perfect bowl of popcorn, mixing a stiff drink and cooking the perfect steak for your friends. I love how you can stay up late but still wake up at 5am, do your devotions, run five miles and never say no to bringing me coffee in bed. I love you so so much. ’sdefinitelytimeforacolonoscopy!

It's been another crazy, whirlwind adoption experience for us. We are still in Texas waiting for all the paperwork to be finalized before flying back to Oregon. Hazel is ready to get home, Lennon is ready to take on the role of big sis' and we are just so, so eager for our little family to be together.

Some of you have been asking if there's anything we need. Truthfully, because adoption is so SO expensive, if you wanted to contribute anything at all to our GoFundMe, that would by far be the biggest blessing to us. Above all, we ask you all to please continue praying for the Brooks family!
