πΆ A small area school had a very passionate music teacher who desperately needed a new keyboard (piano) for the school.πΉ Their existing keyboard was used for all the music classes and events and was on its last legs. The school was hoping LACF could help.
With quick thinking, we thought of a fund holder whose philanthropic interests included music and education. When we reached to the fund holder, they immediately wanted to fund this project in full!
The school had a new keyboard in time for this school year, the music teacher and kids are making beautiful music π΅, the fund holder is happy they could support this need in their community, and LACF is grateful to have been part of the process.

π§ Our fellow, NJ, had never had raw cheese (uncooked and eaten as a snack β basically a staple here in Wisconsin) β and didn't realize how many varieties of cheese there were. So being the good teammates (and cheddarheads) we are, we each brought a different variety of cheese and had a cheese-tasting for NJ. (NJ brought paneer, a staple in India where he's from.) His favorite? A classic: orange sharp cheddar.
