Massage is complimentary healthcare. Massage helps heal, prevent, and mitigate injury. Massage is self-care. Massage is care for your mental health. Massage is vital.
More Than A Luxury One of the most frequently asked questions regarding massage therapy is if it’s worth the expense? Massage is not just a simple back rub, nor is it just a “luxury” or occasional “treat.” Research tells us that massage therapy is a valuable component of a well-rounded healthcare regimen, co...
Sometimes selfcare is making sure to drink enough water (seriously, drink some!). Sometimes it's taking a long hot soak. Sometimes it's getting a massage. You're worth the investment!

Reproductive care rights are a vital component of healthcare. In recognition of this, and to hopefully make a difference, I will give a $10 discount on a massage for anyone who shows me proof that they made a recent (since 6/24/22) donation to an organization that fights to secure reproductive rights or works to provide access to such care. Organizations like, but not limited to, Planned Parenthood.

Donate to Planned Parenthood. We all deserve the right to make our own health care choices. That's why I just joined Planned Parenthood in the fight to make sure everyone can access the care they need, no matter where they live, no matter what. Stand with us.
And don't we all deserve this!

Body sore but unsure whether to use heat or cold? Cold is best for calming and soothing injuries in the acute phases, as well as for calming inflammation. Heat is best for softening and loosening chronic tension.
Did you pull or overwork a muscle? Take a fall? Injure yourself in some way? You probably want cold.
If your neck or back is always tense and sore in the same spot, try heat.
If your self care isn't quite doing it, send me a message and let's try bodywork!
Self-care is a critical part of a wellness plan! Take the time to check in with yourself and identify 1 source of anxiety. Maybe there's a corner of your living space that generates negative feelings every time you see it? Maybe you have been putting off scheduling an appointment. Cross 1 task off your to-do list and notice the immediate improvement in your emotional state!
May is mental health awareness month, which means it's the perfect time to improve both your mental and physical health with massage!

One of the best parts about giving my clients the in-home massage experience is getting to meet their pets!
This time of social-distancing has been hard on all of us, and this article discusses the vital power of touch therapy most of us have been missing.

Receiving massage well is a skill. Here's a tip: Feedback about what you're feeling while you're on our table is helpful! Tell us if you'd like a little more pressure or a little less.
