This year I have two treat boxes available for order:

Six large dark chocolate dipped coconut macaroons (GF) topped with sugared (edible) pansies…. $15

-OR-

Six white velvet cupcakes with lemony chantilly whipped cream and fresh raspberry filling topped with sugared (edible) pansies and fresh thyme sprigs…. $25

I will add a sweet personalized note to the box if you want, just specify the go it’s from, who it’s to and what you want to say! (No charge:)

Add hand-delivery for $3 (on Friday, May 10th starting at 1:30pm) or pick-up May 11th, Saturday afternoon beginning at 1:30pm.

The April cupcake box is available for pre-order 🌷

This months flavor is inspired by an all-time favorite Girl Scout cookie — the Samoa cookie. A rich chocolate cake with a light chocolate mousse and drizzled with chocolate ganache, caramel. To finish them off, I sprinkle toasted coconut and vanilla cookie crumbs on top. If you aren’t a fan of coconut, or any of the toppings, I can modify the cupcakes to include any combination of the above components. Each box includes 6 large cupcakes (I don’t skimp!) and is $22. Place your order via text (541-910-2422) by this Thursday, April 25th to secure your box!! Limited availability, as usual 💗

The cookies and cupcakes will be ready tomorrow, Saturday March 30th, for pick-up starting at 3pm-5pm. If pick-up is your preferred option, then please text me at (541) 910-2422 what time you’d like to come get them within that timeframe. Also include your intended method of payment: cash or Venmo are my current payment options and I can give you your total and pickup information. If you want them delivered, I can deliver starting at 5:15pm. We can arrange details on your end if that is your preferred method to revive your box.

Just a little reminder that Easter is coming up fast — order your Easter boxes of cookies or cupcakes soon! Joah and I would love to deliver it to you or whomever you’d like to send a box to🌷

Easter is right around the corner — let me help you make this Easter a little extra sweet:)

There are two box options in this Easter release:

Maple Sugar Cookies in six cute, colorful and festive Easter shapes (ie eggs, sheep, bunnies, flowers and birds) — these are not your average decorated sugar cookies though. They are thick, soft, not-to-sweet cookies with a delicious buttery and maple-y frosting on top and the fact that they are cute is just a bonus!

And the second box option is six Coconut Cream Cupcakes - a soft and moist coconut cake base filled with a homemade coconut custard and topped with a chantilly whipped cream and toasted coconut flakes (and pastel candy chocolate eggs for Easter fun).

Both options are delicious but I have limited availability of each, so please get your order in by March 25th to secure your box! Pickup or delivery of the boxes will be on Saturday, March 30th, and we can arrange those details when you order.

I’m going to be slowly relaunching my baking business, Verbena Small Batch Bakery, just for a creative outlet and little side hustle, but I am hoping to gauge everyone’s interests. I’m playing with the idea of set weekly baking options, maybe expanding into lunch/meal prepping and delivery and custom cake/dessert orders… any and all feedback is appreciated!

I have been subbing in the local schools for the past few months and as the school year comes to a close, I am looking to start providing childcare for a few families during the weekdays this summer! Let me know if you or anyone you know would be interested in having a consistent babysitter or nanny ❤️ I have a lot of experience with kids of all ages, infants included, and I am CPR/First Aid Certified, as well as a licensed substitute teacher for K-12!

I am hosting a Valentine’s pop-up shop at The Local on Monday, February 14th starting at 9am! Below is the menu for the pop-up shop — quantities are limited so once they are gone, they’re gone!

Come into The Local on Monday to get a sweet treat or two for you and your loves and then, of course, grab a coffee or tea to go with it! ☕️

Hey guys! I’m gearing up for Valentine’s Day (this year is already flying by 😅) and I wanted to get your input. I am planning on doing a set amount of preorders a couple weeks in advance so people have time to get their orders in early and wives will have time to tell their husbands what they want (& visa versa)! 😉

Would you rather have a mixed box of cupcakes and cookies or just cupcakes & just cookies? The cookies will be my toasted coconut macaroons dipped in chocolate (can be made dairy free & gluten free!) and cupcakes will be either white velvet with raspberry filling and custard whipped cream topping or dark chocolate cake with milk chocolate mousse and fresh raspberries!

Please let me know what you all prefer! Mixed box or separate boxes so you can choose cookies or cupcakes ❤️

$38 per box (prices went slightly up because of increased ingredient and supply prices)

Here’s how to preorder & when to pick up:

Preordering for this box is open from now until Wednesday, November 17th. My order capacity is limited so don’t wait!

Pick-up times are as follows:
November 24th from 7pm-8pm OR November 25th from 8:30am-10am.

Pick-up address: 86 Oak St. in La Grande! (look for a white house with a fenced yard and gravel driveway at the end of the street)

All this means for you is that I will be putting out a smaller, more seasonally specific menu depending on the time of the year — starting with Thanksgiving & finishing this year with Christmas & New Years.

I’m going to be doing a limited amount of orders once the menus are out (more on that later) — so be sure to watch for the menu and ordering instructions coming soon!
