Lynn Sebek, DVM

I grew up locally in Western Springs and am a lifelong resident of Illinois. I graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a BS in Animal Science and an MS in Animal Behavior. I earned my DVM at University of Illinois in 1997.

My veterinary interests include Preventive medicine, Internal Medicine, and Behavior.

I enjoy spending time with my 3 dogs Stanley (Brittany), Walter and Tess (Smooth Collies), cat (Stewie) and parakeet (Tweetz McGee). The rest of my time is spent riding and training my two horses, D**k and Wilson.

My goal is to help you develop a healthy lifelong partnership with your pet!


A BIG thank you to all the people that donated for the shelter pets this year! We had a lot of food, toys, clothes, and handmade blankets donated. All donations were split up and given to multiple local shelters/ rescues. 🐶🐱

We have had so many wonderful people drop off donations for the animals! Only a couple days left to drop off any donations.

Just a reminder that we will be closed tomorrow Saturday July 8 th while we move. Monday we will be open at our new location at 905 E. 31st Street in La Grange Park.

We are very excited to announce that we have a move date set! We will be closed on Saturday July 9th for the move. We plan to make the move on Saturday July 9 th and Sunday July 10. We will be open for business on Monday July 11 th at 905 E. 31 st Street. We ask if everyone could please be patient with us during this process. There may be a few bumps in the road while we get settled into our new place, but we are trying our best to make the move as smooth as possible for everyone. It is with great joy and sadness to inform you that
Countryside Animal Hospital, PC will be moving to a
new location near the middle of 2022(we do not have a date as of now). The clinic has grown to the point that our current location can no longer accommodate our current staff and clients/ patients. In addition, we are in the process to hire another veterinarian, and the limited amount of space is not able to accommodate that. After an exhaustive search of potential locations, we have found a new location that is slightly farther than we had hoped. For some of our clients, the move will be a shorter trip. Unfortunately, for others the move will result in a longer trip. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience the move may cause to any of you.
Ultimately, we had to choose the best location in terms of distance from our current location, pricing of the real estate to avoid any price increases for our clients, and permits/zoning accepted by the city. We will continue to update you as we move forward with this process. We sincerely hope you will continue to utilize Countryside Animal Hospital, PC for many years to come.

MASK MANDATE POLICY UPDATE

Thank you to all our current and new clients that have been very understanding and patient with the changes this past year. We understand that the mask mandate will be changing for Illinois starting February 28 th. As a small business, we are strongly encouraging anyone entering the building to continue to wear a mask. We are still implementing protocols the best we can to keep both our clients and staff safe and healthy.

Some veterinary hospitals are still operating only by curbside services. If you prefer to have your pet be seen as curbside, then please let us know at the time of making the appointment.

COVID-19 POLICY UPDATE

Thank you to all our current and new clients that have been very understanding and patient with the new protocols that we implemented this past year. We are happy to announce that we will be slowly starting to phase out curbside appointments starting July 1. During this time, we are still implementing protocols to keep both our clients and staff safe. Due to the small space in the waiting room, we ask that you call once you arrive at the clinic, and the receptionist will let you know when you can come into the clinic. Once in the clinic, you will be brought immediately into the exam room. We are asking that you wear a mask to protect those who may not have been vaccinated. After the exam, we ask that you return to your vehicle, and the staff will continue with the check out procedure with curbside protocols. This will ensure that social distancing can still occur within our allotted space.

If you prefer to have your pet be seen as curbside, then please let us know at the time of making the appointment.
