It’s a place of dreams, a place of peace, a place of refuge. A place where, at least for a moment, you were able to let go, take a moment to breathe, and show up for yourself.

So, it is with warm memories and heavy hearts that we say goodbye to Thérapie Day Spa La Mesa Village as we know it.

And while the door to our spa may close at the end of the month, our little yellow house stays. What she will become is still being dreamt of. One day that door will open again, and we can’t wait to see what she becomes and how she evolves and how new memories are created. The journey continues; a new adventure awaits.

At Thérapie we refer to our deep tissue massage as our Structure Thérapie Massage.

Knowing what we know about the body and muscle response, we wanted to take a more progressive approach to deep tissue.

Our goal is to relieve pain and tension while restoring flexibility. A flow that is slow and focused to reach deep layers of muscle tissue. We pair our Structure Massage with Sombra Cool Therapy, a natural pain relieving gel.

Ami is everything you could want in an esthetician. Skincare is her passion! From her product knowledge to her skin consultations… the curation of her facials based on your personal skin story and skin goals is beyond anything you could want as a client, and everything our Thérapie family hoped for when she joined our team.

Meet Calli!

“I am a Holistic Health Practitioner, certified massage therapist in San Diego CA. I have been in practice for 17 years this June. Passionate about energetic bodywork like Jin Shin Acutouch, Riki, and CranioSacral Therapies. My massage session will often be a blend of all the different modalities I have learned over the years. I geek out about the body, the way it works, and the way emotions also play a part in the physical aches and pains every body feels.

I am currently enrolled in the associate degree program for Yoga teacher training at Pacific College of Health and Sciences, to add to the benefits of massage therapy to my clients as well as expand my own self care as a therapist.

When I am not at school or working at Thérapie, I am spending time with my family. I married my partner flash mob style at Disneyland Park. We have a 3 year old little dude who keeps us laughing and humble.
