This event is organized by the Filipino Young Professionals of Houston. 3. NaFFAA V is holding our annual Filipiniana gala on October 14 benefiting GK USA for disaster relief. Inspiring Change, Building Hope from Chicago to the Philippines Meet Leslie Tiquia, a true beacon of hope based in Chicago, passionately dedicated to supporting a transformative mission in the Philippines. As our Area Director in Chicago and COO of Care Plus Nursing and Rehabilitation, Inc., she embodies the spirit of GK USA while extending her impact across the seas. 🏙️🌍 Leslie participated in the recent GK USA conference that energized her and the GK Chicago team to support the efforts to organize communities in the Philippines toward zero poverty, zero exclusion, and zero carbon. Central to this mission is GK's theory of change: by empowering the poorest families within organized, cohesive communities, they can end their own poverty. Through capacity building occurs within the family and the community, transformative change occurs. The North Cotabato Productivity Hub exemplifies this mission, and, the GK Chicago team supports this sustainably.
