1️⃣ Safety Briefing: Safety first! Every session begins with a thorough safety briefing.
2️⃣ Zeroing: Soldiers calibrate their weapons to ensure accuracy.

What a great start to the Maryland Municipal League (MML) Summer Conference. The MML Summer Conference is an annual event held in Ocean City, Maryland that gathers municipal officials, government leaders, and stakeholders from the state of Maryland. The Maryland Army National Guard had the privilege of exhibiting at the conference and meeting with municipal officials to share insights and explore new ways to collaborate.

We even made a pit stop at the Ocean City Boardwalk. Thank you to everyone who stopped by our table today. And a special shout out to all the motivated Marylanders who knocked out a few reps on our pull-up bar!

Tuition is due? We got you! 👍 You've been accepted into your dream school and now it’s time to pay. The Army National Guard offers so many ways to help you pay for your college education. Our education benefits include:

🎓Montgomery GI Bill - Selected Reserve (MGIB-SR), Chapter 1606
An education assistance program for individuals serving in the Selected Reserve—including the National Guard and other Reserve forces

🎓Montgomery GI Bill - Active Duty (MGIB-AD), Chapter 30
Provides education assistance to eligible service members who have served a sufficient period of Active Duty on or after July 1, 1985.

🎓Army National Guard Kicker
A supplement to the Montgomery GI Bill that pays up to $350 per month in living expenses—up to $12,600 over 36 months—on top of your GI Bill benefits, for recruits and Soldiers in critical military jobs and units. You'll need to apply and qualify for this program.

🎓Post-9/11 GI Bill, Chapter 33
For Soldiers with at least 90 days of Active Duty service on or after September 11, 2001, the Post-9/11 GI Bill can cover up to 100 percent of your tuition, depending on the length of time you've served. You may also be eligible for a housing allowance and a stipend for books and supplies, and your benefits may be transferable to your dependents.

Utilizing inflatable tanks, decoy aircraft, and false radio transmissions, they executed an innovative plan to confuse the enemy. Our next batch of recruits participated in the Occupational Physical Assessment Test (OPAT)! 💪The event pictured is the Standing Long Jump. Participants stand behind a takeoff line with their feet parallel and shoulder-width apart. From there, they jump as far as possible. Their Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) determines the minimum distance required. Do you think he made it?
