We thought last weekend was our last visit to the La Plata Farmers Market for a bit but, surprise, we will still be there this Saturday!
As of now, there will be 39 amazing vendors set up and ready to return your smiles. Your favorite food trucks will be there as well!
9am until 2pm in the Court House parking lot.

Summer is back and its the last day of the Wednesday edition of the La Plata Farmers Market. (Saturday market continues through November)

We kindly ask - no smoking and no pets on the grounds of Town Hall during events.

Parking is available at Sacred Heart Church on St. Mary's Avenue, just a block west of Town Hall. When parking at Sacred Heart, please be sure to use the back parking lot only and leave the front and side lots available for parishioners attending services and activities at the church.

Look for us this Wednesday and Thursday evening at Milton M. Somers Middle School for La Plata Blue Knights Football and Cheerleading practice! 10% of all sales will go back to the Blue Knights. Last year, the amount, was nearly $600! Can we top that amount this year? Challenge accepted! We are off to a great start!

Every Wednesday we have a wonderful group of kids from a local daycare( Potomac Early Learning Center LLC )that walk down to the market for our shaved ice. Today was their last day for the summer. By coincidence our good friend and owner of No Sauce Que, LLC stopped by and paid for all the kids! He is a great in that way. Be sure to show him some love and if you're not already following them on social media please do so!

Find us tonight at Mcdonough High School for sports tryouts! We are excited to be a big part of McDonough sports this fall. You will find us at all football games this season!

Any word on when the La Plata Blue Knights Football and Cheerleading start playing games. We plan to be at some of them.

Today's La Plata Blue Knights Football and Cheerleading Jamboree was off the chain. We had to leave early because y'all ran us out of ice. 400 pounds! Guess we will bring more next year. 10% goes back to the kids so thanks for all the support!

Sorry, we will not be at the La Plata Farmers Market on Saturday because we be supporting all the young athletes at this amazing event! We will be there all day. Can't wait to see this year's talent.

Kicking off the 2024 Football season with our annual KNIGHT FIGHT JAMBOREE!

A percentage of our proceeds will benefit When I'm Better Foundation - supporting research and clinical trials for DIPG/DMG.

We will have free face painting, concessions, vendors, 50/50 Raffle, Ohana Ice, merchandise for sale, and so much more fun!

This is a tough one. We have been in business for 8 years. I have four kids but no grandkids. I consider the kids that visit our stand as my grandkids. When tragedy strikes one of them it hurts. The sadness and tears are real. We recently lost little Mr. Declan through a terrible event. The little guy always had a beautiful smile when he visited us. We are grateful to have had the opportunity to share some joyful moments during his life. RIP Declan.

A couple of weeks ago we needed a present for my stepmother's birthday. Picking up a plant from the La Plata Farmers Market was easy but we needed something else.
Loops and Dangles to the rescue. They make a bunch of cute crafts from yarn along with many other items.
My stepmother loves owls. I checked to see if they might have one available. They didn't. 😔 But she said she could make me one by the end of the market. 😁 Awesome! My stepmother loved it!
