Hey there ladies!
I will be out of the studio next week 7/15-7/21
Just wanted to let you know that I have no Saturday appointments available for the rest of July and the month of August.
Contact me directly at 909-295-5527 to schedule appointments. I have limited availability due to shortened work week.
I will only be taking appointments Thursdays-Saturdays

I want to thank all of you for your patience, I know I’m not as flexible as I used to be with appointments. I truly appreciate you understanding that my life has been altered by my mom’s illness. I am so blessed that you’re still loyal to me and my business 💓
Hope to to see you soon…. Cristela AKA Crystal
🔶 Last Wednesday, appointment scheduled for 2024 🔶
Hi there! I just want to say, that I’m very grateful for all of you who have been very patient and supportive about my short work schedule.
For many years, I was able to be flexible and accommodate early/late appointments. I realize that my new schedule may not meet your needs, but this will be my new norm at least for the rest of the year.
My mom is set to come home Saturday 6/1 & her new norm is to have round the clock care. So I will only be scheduling appointments Thursdays-Saturdays.
I really do appreciate all of you for being so understanding.
Thank you for the love and support my mom and I receive, I hope that I can continue to be of service to you for many years to come! ❤️
My momma Maria Victoria has been extubated and downgraded from ICU . Thank you all for your continued prayers 🙏
Today was all about the copper trend. It was nice to start if the new year, doing what I love.
I enjoy being a part of transformations and bringing hair back to life. Thank you & .ym.usa (mom’s client) for your continued loyalty through these tough last few months. I’m so grateful to continue my mom’s passion in the art of hair!

2023 has been a bittersweet year.
A year of drastic changes, ups and downs, everything in between.
The unimaginable happened, seeing our mother suffer a brain aneurysm once surviving and pulling through. Throughout Al of this or family bond, stronger than ever.
This Christmas night my mom suffered a 2nd aneurysm, we’re holding on to faith she will recover from this one as well.
I am so thankful for all of you who have shown me and my family so much love and support. For embracing my new place and for your continued loyalty.
I have been very successful these last 5 months at the studio.
And I appreciate all of you who were understanding about your last minute cancelled appointments.
Today I close out this year grateful, humbled, and loved by my clients that came to day and showed me how truly blessed and loved we are. For the prayers that were given to me for my momma today.
It felt good to have hugs and words of encouragement.
I will give my all to stay positive and have faith for my mother’s recovery and for a New Year filled with blessings of good health & continued prosperous business.

✨Now taking new clients✨
Appointments Wednesday-Saturday
This week marked my 3rd month here at Sola.
Here’s a recap of what this week looked like for me, minus a couple of color services and haircuts with no pictures 🤦🏻♀️
It has taken some time for me to adjust to my new home away from home. I am very grateful that most of you like my new place, and have been loyal while you wait to get in to see me. Especially now that I only take appointments Thursday-Saturday.
I’m slowly feeling comfortable working on my own. It has been an adjustment. I didn’t have the mind space to even decorate in the beginning, my only focus was to stay busy. Not pandering on whether I have made the right decision for my future as a stylist.
I had no choice but to walk this next chapter in life on my own.
Now that I’m a solo stylist I have more responsibility to be successful in my career. Thank you to all who have been a part of this new venture with me. I will continue to give 💯% to you through quality service. Hope to keep building forever business friendships/relationships with y’all,
hopefully even new ones.
Now that I have somewhat settled in, I will be accepting new clients.
And booking appointments on Wednesdays. I will keep you posted. If you need to reach me, do so preferably by calling or texting me at 909-295-5527
Thanks again, I love you guys!
So today was my first day at the Studio since closing shop July 1st in Downtown Pomona.
It’s a bittersweet journey, where I find myself traveling alone for the first time in 23 years.
I feel happy, excited, scared, lonely…
I no longer have my business partner by my side, my teacher,
my comfort zone.
It’s like I was set free to soar on my own. At least I find solace in knowing that I had the fortune to have been mentored by my Mom and have been taught to value my worth, my work, my clients.
I have inherited the best of her, and her passion for the beauty industry. I will continue giving y’all the best of me. Always offering quality service. I want you to feel the same comfort and welcome in my new humble home away from home.
I am truly and AbSoLuTeLy grateful to all who continue to support me, and to my momma’s long time clients who are trusting me in being their substitute hairstylist.
Don’t mind the mess… it’s a work in progress, I’m going to have fun decorating my space.
Cheers to new beginnings.
Today was a good day 🙌🏼
The words don’t come easy, no matter how many times I’ve shared our story it’s still hard to assimilate.
So with heavy hearts we announce that after 23 years of working side by side, hand in hand, in our family business Mia Belleza permanently closed for business July 01, 2023.
This business was special to us, it’s where Mom and I bonded even more. She was the best teacher and mentor. Our love for the beauty industry helped us fulfill our dreams.
We shared the same passions, dreams and gave our all to provide every one of the persons who walked through our doors with professional and quality services.
for those of you have been with us from the beginning and those who have recently found us. Thank You to all our loyal customers, family, friends for the support of our business at this location for close to 13 years.
We have truly enjoyed serving you, we appreciate you, it’s truly been a pleasure to serve you.
You all know this decision was not made lightly, had it not been for my mother’s illness the thought of closing had never crossed our minds. We began this journey of owning salon, together… and unfortunately the closure of salon fell upon me all by myself.
Our story is now complete and my solo journey will begin a new chapter. Where I will use all my momma’s wisdom, strength and work ethic to guide me to a better future.
I love , love, love all you guys.
And on behalf of my mom I tell you once again Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We will cherish every milestone shared with us and have so much gratitude towards you for choosing our family business for your beauty needs.
Grateful for the continued prayers for my mom’s recovery and well being. We’ve received so much love and support through these hard times. 🙇🏻♀️
Y’all have been a great part of our success.
Sincerely Yours,
Cristela (Crystal) & María Victoria
Today this chapter of our life has come to and end & my new life story will begins.
I have to believe like everyone tells me that God has a better plan for me.
I am going through the motions at this point, it’s been hard to literally do this alone. With my mom in the hospital again, it has been pretty lonely here at salon.
I am so used to working together as a team. I miss how my mom and I are always on the same page for everything.
For the last 7 1/2 weeks I have been juggling both her and mine appointments. Missing her presence,
her guidance, her unconditional love & support.
Got through my last appointment today and had a little breakdown, after my clumsy self fell down the stairs of the loft.
I am ok though, it was one of those times you don’t know wether to laugh or cry.
And then it got me thinking, life has been good to us. I am resilient and strong, I’m like The Phoenix. I have been taught to never give up, and have the best role model to prove it.
It’s been a pleasure to have the privilege to work 23 wonderful years with my Momma. We enjoyed our time working together. We really loved being a part of the Downtown Pomona community. We made many friends, and leave with wonderful memories.
On behalf of my mom, I thank every single one of you. For your patronage, for the emotional support given to me and to her. For the love shown towards my mom and for the continued prayers for her recovery.
Here’s to new beginnings…
Let the packing begin. 📦
I will post my new location information soon, but will contact everyone personally by text as well. I will be taking a week off to settle and dedicate to my own emotional well being. It’s not a goodbye, it’s a see ya later!
Sincerely yours Cristela ( Crystal) 💞
Hola, today I use this forum to try and express the gratitude I feel for every single one of you who have stood by me loyally through my 23 year career as a hairstylist.
This is me, I know I get a little mushy but I always speak what I feel in my ♥️.
Bring out the tissue 😭
Out of my siblings, I always wanted to follow in my mom’s footsteps. Anything beauty related runs in my blood. As a teen I helped my mom when she worked at salon in Montebello.
Playing salon, one day turned into a reality later in life at age 26.
It’s been Me & my Momma since 2000, starting from our small salon in San Dimas and ending at our beautiful shop in Downtown Pomona 23 years later.
We’ve had so many of our customers impact our lives, become friends, better yet FAMILY.
There were a few times we weren’t sure if we’d be able to keep salon open, the 1st was the recession in 2008, 2nd the fire in our building in 2016, 3rd the Pandemic in 2020.
As a team, my mother and I remained strong and always leaving everything in God’s hands if it was four our benefit.
I never in my life thought one day my mom would fall ill so young, at only 65. Forcing us to make the decision to close down shop and have her retire permanently to allow her to heal.
It’s bittersweet to end this chapter in my life, and not be able to continue by my mentor’s side. I guess We had to cut the umbilical cord at one point in my life.
I’m a ball of emotions right now, from sad to scared, excited and optimistic. Ready to face whatever is in store for me in this new journey.
Within this post are just a few of the many, many, many messages of encouragement, love, and support I have received from customers of a span of 23 wonderful years of working side by side with My forever Inspiration, my Rock, my Heart, my Best Friend.
I appreciate you, like you have no idea. Thank you for the love you have given my mom and me through this difficult time. I hope to see you all at my next destination.
Grateful to all of my mom’s clients, not a One has refused me as their back up hairstylist.
I will let y’all know the details of the new location soon….
I love you all, Your Friend & Hairstylist
Cristela (Crystal) 😘
Update: 40 long days…
WELCOME HOME MOMMA ❣️
Today my mom is finally going home. This has been a long journey for her and as a family unit as well. Our bond stronger, our love greater than ever.
It has been the scariest experience to have lived through. Seeing our mother who we have known to be the strongest person we know, look so frail so unlike herself was heart breaking.
I am so grateful for all our family, friends and customers who offered prayers for her and help to us. Thank you to all those who visited her in the hospital, called or messaged her every day.
My heart is full with all the love we have received.
We are so happy that her recovery has been great. She is amazing, my hero, my idol… giving her all to get better and return to her independent self.
I’m so happy to have her home with us again. We missed her sooooo much 💗
I just want to give an update on my mom’s recovery.
But first… let me begin by saying that we are so overwhelmed with the show of love everyone has given our family through this difficult time we have faced.
On May 7th my mother suffered a brain aneurysm. She spent 26 days hospitalized most of those in ICU. Had 2 risky but necessary brain surgeries.
Our customers, friends & family near & far, old or new kept in continuous circle of prayer. We are forever grateful for the emotional support we have received.
It wasn’t easy for us to see her like this, I’m grateful that as a family we bonded together & never left her side.
As a team Ruby and I did our best to always be by our mothers side. In show of support & love. I would like to thank my aunt, her sister Laura who also helped us out on the days we could not be present. To my Brother and girlfriend for going after work and giving me a little break from the hospital to take care of myself. I love you guys!
The daily texts and messages of encouragement filled my heart with so much strength and love. You have no idea how much I needed that💓
Never once did we see it as a burden or sacrifice, as her children we owe everything we are to this Warrior of a lady. It’s the least we could do.
I want to give thanks to Ruby & Stephanie for advocating on behalf of my mom and pushing through with Insurance to get her into Casa Colina. By choice this was the only acceptable place for her journey to recovery. We weren’t going to accept No for an answer and have our momma go to nursing homes, risking her to have possible setbacks and not receiving the care she deserves.
We are blessed to have built strong business relationships with our clients & I thank all of those who trust me with your hair care in my mothers absence. I appreciate you with all of my heart! Cristela
P.S. mom is already planning a brunch at salon to invite all who would like to see her in case she doesn’t return to work. I know many wanted to see her in hospital but couldn’t go. I’ll keep you posted 😃
I would like to express my sincerest gratitude to all my beautiful clients.
Thank you to those I had cancel last minute the 1st week my mom fell ill.
I am so blessed to have the support of my clients old and new. Your loyalty means everything to me.
It’s been quite an adjustment for me to fit my mom’s clients into my schedule, and I’m humbled by the show of trust I have received by them. I’m here for you, know that without a doubt I will provide your services to highest standards as my Momma did.
Love you guys… y’all are the BEST.
Many of you have asked how you can help me? Well, by keeping me busy. I ❤️ what I do and can’t give it up just yet!
Although I have shortened my work week to 3 days out of the week(Thursday-Saturday)
Also my calendar has opened up again, since I won’t be taking my vacation time in June, so I am available 6/10-6/21
Again Thank You, and continue to pray for my mom and our family. It’s been very helpful for our emotional well being 🩷 TY Cristela Mireles
Update on Mom’s status:
Mom is doing better, showing improvements on daily basis. She’s a strong lady, and so lucky to have received the necessary care on time. She will be undergoing another necessary surgery Wednesday, please continue to keep her in prayer.
Her recovery will not be easy, at the moment we don’t expect her to return to salon. Her journey has just begun, she will have to receive physical and speech therapy. We’re very hopeful that with family support she’ll have a speedy recovery. We’re aware and she’s aware that a lot will change especially at the salon.
It has been a great adjustment for both myself and my mom. The salon’s future is unclear.
My work load has doubled taking over my mother’s existing appointments. Those of you who don’t mind, I can gladly provide your services.
I will be temporarily shortening my work
week from Thursday-Saturday 10-6
I am probably going to be providing my mom’s home care as well. I do apologize any inconvenience. And I truly am grateful for all the love and support we are receiving from y’all
Feel free to message me for appointments, directly to my cell 909-295-5527. TY Crystal
Dear friends and customers, we are sad to announce that due to unexpected health reasons Maria will no longer be available for services.
She is hospitalized and on her way to recovery. Through the years she has made many close friends/business relationships and we understand your concern, we appreciate your loyalty and welcome your prayers.

✨This post is a bit personal for our business page but the story behind it relates✨
Have you ever experienced something that led you to believe it’s an epiphany in your life? I have!
• Saturday was like any other day at the Salon doing what I do best & loving every minute of it. That is until my unfortunate, could’ve been worse accident at my work station. (Occupational hazards do exist)
So I’m finishing a haircut on a Balayage of over 6 1/2 hrs, a guest comes in & I walk to our front desk to greet & ask me why I still have my shears in my hand 🤷🏻♀️ I don’t know. Anywho I walk back to my chair, I somehow slid on hair on the floor & in a split second my only thought was Crap I’m about to fall hard with my scissors in hand & this could end bad. My first reaction was to not use my hands to break my fall because 1. the shears 2. If I break them I can’t work literally. It all happened so fast I crashed head first into the claw legs of my station closed my eyes & braced for the worse. You know those cartoon moments w/ head bumps & stars?? Yup that happened! BIG BUMP.
I scared the hell out my guest, my mom back in shampoo room w/ client & Angel in the waiting area, I was even a little in shock! Or maybe concussed. Or both at least my shears didn’t do much damage but somehow nick the inside of my ear. It was one of those moments when you don’t know wether to laugh or cry. Those who know me know I’m a tough cookie, I never show sign of weakness. Without a shed of a tear & no acceptance of help getting up. I willed myself & despite the request from my guest to take a few minutes to sit down & catch my breath, I couldn’t. She even suggested for me not to style her hair & after all that work I couldn’t find it in me to leave this service half assed! She was my last & I’d get to go home.
Since then I’ve been coming into realization that I must have Guardian Angels looking out for me, in a matter of 1 year I have managed to come out in one piece after 2 scary incidents. One was my car accident just 4 days after the purchase of my new car and now this? I need to slow my roll!
Be more careful, cause the only one that can look after me is Me, Myself & I and someone up above. 🙏
Mia Belleza Salon will be closed 7/18-7/25
We apologize for any inconvenience. Feel free to leave a message at 909-629-8259 for appointment requests.
Thank You Crystal & Maria

This is a glimpse of my life in 2021
From beginning to end…
personal and professional
I have have had joyous and disappointing days
Successes and mistakes
Days my world crumbled and ordinary days filled with bliss.
2021 taught me lessons that will forever help my emotional growth and confirm what I knew I had in me, Faith, resilience, strength, love and forgiveness.
I will no longer complain of what I have or do not have, because… I am the luckiest woman in the world. My most important treasures are my family and my profession and both bring me happiness. Family time is very important to me.
I’ve learned that I can take time out of my busy schedule to recharge and not feel guilty for it!
I have learned to balance my life out…
from living to work to working to live?
It’s hard to say which is correct, all I can say is it’s Nice to think about Me time once in a while…
The year began with uncertainty of job security and fear of losing what we have worked hard to have, but I have been blessed to have loyal clients and to be able to continue to do what I love. Business is growing and I will never doubt my ability to grow in this industry.
I am thankful for all 365 days of 2021, each day wether good or bad has made me a better person.
Goodbye 2021, I wouldn’t change a damn thing. And looking forward to whatever ‘22 has in store for me. Cristela Mireles
Our stylists prefer to book one color/chemical service at a time.
When we have a no show and no time to fill the spot. That's taking away the opportunity to get in a client.
Not only could we have made someone happy our independent contractors made "0". Most of our chemical services are marked out 2-3 hours & our balayage and color corrections 4-8 hrs. That's like showing up to work & making no income.
We realize life happens but with the busy season here it's very unfortunate for the stylist & a potential client.
Most stylist double book in our industry due to the very reason of no shows, but we don’t we value you as a guest and respect your time. Please show the same love and respect.
We will be implementing a deposit for any service as of January 2022, seems like new and old guests need more than a friendly reminder… Venting over….
Thank you & we love y’all 💕
~ Mia Belleza Salon
In this time of gratitude, we give thanks for you. We value your patronage and appreciate your confidence in us. Counting you among our customers is something for which we are especially grateful.
So, Thank you for your business. We are thinking of you during this season and hope y’all enjoy time with family & friends.
I know I get a little sappy, but reflecting on Thanksgiving 2020 I realize how much I appreciate doing what I love. Last year was the 1st year in my 21 years working in the salon that we didn’t work the holidays. State had us closed November-December.
I didn’t know how much I missed being behind the chair. Conversations with my guests. The smiles I bring to someone in need to look and feel beautiful. The awe in someone’s first professional color.
I am even grateful for my picky ones, which challenge me to be my best!!!
The little things that perhaps at one point I took for granted, which lockdown taught me to never take anything in life for granted again.
My love for you and my craft is what I’m most grateful for. No matter if you’re a first time guest or long time loyal guest.
Our appreciation for your business and your loyalty goes throughout the year not just today. Best wishes for a happy Thanksgiving!
Sincerely, Mia Belleza Salon
