Millions of passwords leaked in recent breaches.
Banks, Apple, Google, Yahoo, Paypal, and other web service providers have all recently had large leaks of their user accounts to build hacker databases.
If you use the same password for more than one website login, you may want to change ALL of your passwords and create a new unique one for each website. Hackers are now blasting out your email and password combination, testing them across every website that they can, often taking over multiple of your accounts if you have used the same combination of your email address and a password.
The uptick in helping clients with their user accounts has been seen, and everyone needs to improve their password hygiene. For websites that allow you to turn on second factor authentication, so that the site will send a code to your phone before allowing you to sign in, this is now highly recommended to protect your security and privacy.
There are tools like Lastpass that can help you manage your personal password databases. Ask us for help if you are going through a security reset.

Stop reusing passwords, also use a password manager like LastPass to store all of your passwords so you can create outrageously secure passwords. You shouldn't be using the same password on any two different websites. For websites that allow it, turn on 2 factor authorization, so you need to have your phone available to log in. Together we can all slow down the hackers.
