This national holiday celebrated on June 19 commemorates the emancipation of enslaved people in the US. The holiday was first celebrated in Texas, where on that date in 1865, in the aftermath of the Civil War, enslaved people were declared free under the terms of the 1862 Emancipation Proclamation.
We are blessed to have many of our graduates honored with scholarships and awards!
Congratulations to the Class of 2024! We are so very proud of you!
Behind the scenes at 8th grade graduation!
From Coach Diamond:
On 6/14/2024, Business Owner Katherine Gress purchased and donated an Easy Goal Basketball net for Our Lady of Victory School. Easy Goals provides the ability to lower basketball nets to various heights allowing students, especially in grades K-2, the ability to participate, practice and develop their basketball skills. Katherine Gress continues to support the OLV athletic program by providing equipment needed to help our student-athletes learn, grow, and succeed in elementary athletics and beyond. OLV would like to thank Katherine Gress for her continued support. Thank you!
Each Tuesday during the Summer months we will post a Tuesday Tip to try with your tots!
Tip #1 - Go on a picnic. Lunch is more fun when it’s outside. Encourage kids to help prepare picnic-friendly foods, then spread out a blanket and enjoy.
How do you prefer to read: by holding a physical book or using a Kindle?

A kindergarten graduation is such a special moment in the life of a child. Once again, help us congratulate our little graduates!
Lord, thank you for my dad. Thank you not because he was perfect, but because he was present and always tried to do his best. Help me to learn from him and take the lessons he tried to teach me to help me be a better person, and the one you called me to be.
Amen.
Happy Father's Day.
