We are here in in observance of the 80th anniversary of : The most intensive land, sea, and air assault against Hitler’s war machine during World War 2. Nearly 160,000 troops stormed the beach that day. Thanks to their courage, grit, and determination, by the end of August, 2 million allied troops smashed through the N**i occupation to liberate France.

As time marches forward, may we never forget their sacrifice. To our surviving veterans, to our brothers and sisters currently serving at home and abroad, and our allies around the world, we at the salute you.

Snow? In Nevada? In the desert? You bet! ❄️☃️

Our Airmen practiced ariel and lowlight documentation recently over Dyess Air Force Base . The team took to the skies on a C-130J Super Hercules, during a nighttime flight exercise with the 40th Airlift Squadron.

Happy Veterans Day to all vets past and present! Some of our team is training in the altitude chamber for flying duties and some are out capturing the United States Armed Forces Sports Men's and Women's Basketball Championships! (See our photos below). Wherever we are, we are grateful to you!

Over the past week, the 3 AVS team has been hard at work preparing to livestream Innovation Rodeo 2022 to countless viewers all over the world!

Innovation Rodeo is a meeting of some of the most creative and strategic-thinking minds in the Air Force. Eight members will present their ideas to a panel of esteemed judges to get their feedback and for a share of at least $1 million in funding and resources to pursue their innovation.

Over the past week members of the 3 AVS have been hard at work live-streaming and providing commentary for CISM - Conseil International du Sport Militaire Women's Football Championship in Spokane, Washington! This effort is in collaboration with members of our sister Squadron 2d Audiovisual Squadron!



Check out the livestreamed soccer tournaments 3: 30 p.m. and 7 p.m. PST everyday from now until 22 July at United States Armed Forces Sports.

They’re hard at work re-creating training videos for air field drivers for the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Complex. 🚙

We’re jumping into the weekend! 🪂

Over this past week, Airmen headed over to Barksdale AFB to begin egress training with the 2d OSS!

During one training session, they used virtual reality to learn how to safely land with a parachute.

Soon, they’ll be able to capture videos and photos from a B-52!
