Shout out to Mr. William and Mr. Ivory for stopping by the Security Forces Museum today to reminisce a little before they kicked off their 65th Combat Arms Reunion. Both served briefly in the Army before joining the Air Force and used the skills they learned to continue into civilian Law Enforcement in their home states. We love hearing stories like this and hope they enjoy their reunion weekend!
All of us here at the Airman Heritage Training Complex wish the men and women of the new Air Force Security Forces Basic Defender Course great successes on their journey to becoming Defenders.

On this day eighteen years ago, A1C Elizabeth Jacobson became the first female Defender to die in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. She was 21. Her sacrifice will forever be remembered. There is now an exhibit inside the Security Forces Museum that was created in honor of her and other female defenders who day in and out put their service before self! 💙
Always a pleasure to have our four-legged coworkers stop by!
