Thankful for the little lives we get to touch everyday ❤️

A preschool teacher’s arms are your child’s first home away from home.

The place where they begin gaining some independence and saying goodbye to their nest.

It’s a parent’s first experience with a hard goodbye.

Will my child be okay?

I hope they make friends.

Does the teacher see my child as I see them?

Soon the year progresses, and you realize your worries were unfounded.

Your child is thriving and loves their teacher.

Their teacher becomes an extension of you.

She comforts them when needed, kissing every boo-boo.

She guides them when they need a steady hand.

She picks them up and gives bear hugs.

Most of all, she loves your baby like her own.

Your little one comes home each day with new words and stories.

“Mommy, did you know the walrus breaks the ice with its tusks?” as your child imitates a walrus.

You smile and breathe a sigh of relief.

But soon, the school year starts coming to a close, and you hurt for your baby.

Hurt because that teacher they love so much, your child must say goodbye.

And you must say goodbye too.

Goodbye to the morning hugs.

The special dances and handshakes.

Goodbye to the daily milestones.

The laughter and smiles.

Goodbye to circle time and silly songs.

The playground where so many memories have been made.

Your child will never forget their preschool teacher.

And neither will you. ❤

‘Life on the Farm’ week has us all smiles 🐽 🐑 🤎

We loved celebrating Easter and learning what it truly means 💜

We are spinning like planets and having an Out Of This World week! 🌍

It was all smiles learning about Louisiana this week and tasting local foods ❤️

We had a special guest come and read us a story about sugar cane, and pass out treats! Louisiana week has been so fun! 🤩

Today we went on a scavenger hunt. We walked all around the church looking for pictures!

We learned about how to be healthy today. We had a visit from Gracie the giraffe and learned all about how taking care of our teeth can help us to be healthy 🦷

We wrapped up our unit this week on Pets Need Care with a hairless Guinea pig and a CHICKEN!! (I promise we sanitized after!) This week was tons of fun 🤩

Maggie came to school today and was a big hit!

We are learning about ‘Pets need care’ this week. Today we had a tortoise friend stop in! Hank was a big deal 🐢😆

We rocked our 50th day of a school! We also learned about Winter ❄️

Praying you all have a Very Merry Christmas, from all of us you to and your families 🎄❤️

We had an amazing program today! What a great way to start our Christmas break glorifying our Lord ❤️🎄

Happy Birthday Jesus ❤️ we had our Christmas parties and practice today. Nothing but smiles all around!

This week we were busy learning about cooking and measurements! Pasta, pizza, and cookies oh my ❤️

Our Thanksgiving program was so fun to watch! Our 3 & 4 year olds did a great job. The meal after was a nice time of food and fellowship. Praying you all have a blessed Thanksgiving ❤️ We are so thankful for our MDO family!

Today we tasted different foods from all around the world 🌎

WE LOVE CHURCH! Our 3 and 4 year olds got to tour the church with Brother James! Excited is an understatement 😆

We wrapped up Career week with the cutest outfits!! And a trip to the kitchen to see what a chef does ☺️

We appreciate the men and women that help to keep us safe. The kids had fun learning what police officers do each day, and of course climbing all through the vehicle 💙

Community helper week is a BLAST! 🚒 🚑
