In the "old days" pallet companies eradicated pests by fumigating pallets with harmful chemicals. In 2003, we sought a better, cleaner and safer solution for our customers. Enter heat treating.

As in other areas, we were among the early adopters of heat treating pallets and as such, our first three kilns had serial numbers of 3, 4 and 5.

Today, we operate 14 kilns to aid in our ability to provide safe, pest free pallets to our customers. What's more, we're able to reduce our carbon footprint by not only eliminating the use of harmful chemicals, but utilizing saw dust to fuel our kilns.

Because every scrap of wood, from our sawmill to our manufacturing facilities, (including the sawdust) gets repurposed into a useable product. From premium mulch to animal bedding to the very fuel we use to power our kilns and dry our pallets.

That translates to over 1 Billion (with a B) pounds of materials being diverted away from landfills every single year.

These cameras inspect every load of used pallets as they come off the trucks and enter our facility. If ever a question arises whether a load arrived or how many pallets made it to our facility, we can provide a visual inspection of the truck being unloaded to provide complete peace of mind and absolute certainty to you our customer.

Today, all of our IPC facilities are closed as we pause to remember all of those that have given their lives in service to our country. They and their families have made the ultimate sacrifice and we are forever grateful.

On June 17th, we were thrilled to have over 200 employees and their loved ones join us for an unforgettable Greencastle Family Day!

We spent the day indulging in arcade games, racing around on Go-Carts, and engaging in thrilling laser tag battles. To keep everyone energized, we had Taco Man providing delicious fuel, followed by a delightful serving of ice cream. But the excitement didn't stop there - we also held a raffle drawing where we distributed some fantastic prizes to show our gratitude.
