We are thrilled to announce that our back-to-school drive was a huge success! Thanks to the incredible generosity of our families and the community, we were able to fill 180 backpacks with essential school supplies. Every family who applied for a backpack received one, ensuring they are ready for the upcoming school year.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated school supplies and supported this initiative. Your kindness and support have made a significant impact on our children's education and future.

Together, we are stronger, and together, we are making a difference! 🙌💖

📢 Exciting News! Mini Me Learning Academy is Expanding! 🎉

We are thrilled to announce the opening of our second Mini Me Learning Academy! 🌟 We know that each child at Mini Me Learning Academy receives great quality care through our loving teachers. We are excited to provide excellent care and a nurturing environment for new families in the Vermillion Parish.💖

Mini Me Learning Academy of Maurice is located at 12219 LA-92, Maurice, LA 70555. 📍

Our new location will cater to children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old. We also offer a before and after school program for children ages 5 to 12 years old attending: Cecil Picard Elementary, Vermillion Charter Academy, and Indian Bayou Elementary!

We have the The Little Paintbrush Art Studio come visit Mini Me today to give our kiddos a painting lesson! They had some much fun creating their crabs! Check out these amazing artists! 🎨🧑‍🎨🖼️

Thank to our local fire station for coming visit our PreK kiddos and teach them about fire safety and how firefighters are our friends! Our kiddos loved being able to see a firefighter in their gear and the firetruck up close! 🧯🚒🧑‍🚒

Clayfish Bisque made a special visit to our center earlier this week. Our Prek kiddos were able to make art on a tile that they will soon get to bring home as a keepsake from Mini Me!

🎒 Blessings in a Backpack 🌟

Mini Me Learning Academy and our sister-centers are excited to assist families in our community who may need help purchasing backpacks and school supplies for the 2023-2024 school year. If you are in need or would like to nominate a family who is in need, please fill out our confidential form.

We will donate 20 filled backpacks as well as match all supplies and backpacks donated by our families. Here are three ways you can help us to serve those in need:
1. Dropping any new and unused supplies in our grey tubs labelled “Blessings in a Backpack” at each of our locations.
2. Purchasing items off our Amazon Wishlist that will ship directly to one of our centers.
3. Giving a monetary donation in which, we will double to buy supplies.

This drive will start July 8th and will end on July 30th. Last year, we were able to provide 20 backpacks to our Little Blessings Academy families and 56 to Gifting Grace for their Pack the Backpack drive! Those who are chosen to receive the donations will remain anonymous, but we will share the final count of families served on social media.

Thank you Teddy Bear Mobile - Acadiana for filling our little ones hearts with so much love for their new furever friends! Our kiddos loved choosing their new stuffed bestie last Thursday and enjoyed having a picnic with them on Friday!

Our PreK 2 class enjoyed staying in the shade yesterday and doing some bubble paint art! This was an awesome and creative activity for our two year old to do. 🫧🎨

Our PreK kiddos recently enjoyed doing some chalk art outside with the help of tape to guide them in what shapes they wanted to make! Our kids are creative with their colors ! 🖍️💚

Ms. Daisy class enjoyed a fun game of “bowling” today since it was too wet to go outside! We love doing fun activities with our kiddos! 🎳☔️
