🔬 Is “Normal” Really Optimal? 🔬
When you get blood work done, how often are you told, “Everything looks normal”? While that may sound reassuring, “normal” isn’t always optimal! Traditional lab ranges are based on averages within the population—meaning they capture a broad range, not necessarily what’s ideal for health. Here’s what that really means:
💡 How are Lab Ranges Determined?
Lab “normal” ranges are established by averaging results from a wide, general population. But since many people are dealing with undiagnosed issues, these averages often include less-than-healthy individuals. So, when your labs fall within this range, it doesn’t mean you’re operating at your best; it simply means you’re within the general population’s range.
❗ Side Effects of “Normal” Levels ❗
Even if your results are “normal,” you might still experience symptoms like:
• Fatigue or low energy
• Weight gain or stubborn weight loss
• Mood swings or anxiety
• Poor digestion or gut health issues
• Brain fog or memory challenges
• Low libido or hormonal imbalance
These symptoms are common signals that something isn’t optimal—even if it’s technically “normal.”
✨ Our Approach: Personalized & Optimal ✨
At Adorn Aesthetics and Wellness we go beyond the standard ranges. We look at optimal ranges, personalized to you, because your best health isn’t a “one size fits all.” With a detailed look at your blood work, we aim for peak energy, mental clarity, balanced weight, and overall wellness—because you deserve to thrive, not just survive.
➡️ Book your consultation today to understand what’s truly going on with your health. Let’s optimize, not settle for normal.
Struggling with fatigue, weight gain, or mood swings? 💭 You can’t just “willpower” your way through hormonal imbalances. If you’ve asked your doctor to check your hormones and been brushed off, it’s time for a change. If something feels off, it probably is! 💡
At Adorn Aesthetics and Wellness Health , we specialize in comprehensive hormone panels to get to the root of your symptoms. Don’t settle for feeling less than your best. Schedule a consultation with one of our expert providers today and let’s work together to optimize your health! 🌿

Feel like your hormones are off? Balancing hormones naturally can be supported by incorporating specific nutrient-rich foods into your diet. Here are some real foods that may help:
1. **Leafy Greens**: Spinach, kale, and Swiss chard are high in magnesium, which can aid in regulating cortisol, a stress hormone.
2. **Fatty Fish**: Salmon, mackerel, and sardines are rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which can help reduce inflammation and balance hormones.
3. **Avocados**: Packed with healthy fats, avocados can support hormone production and improve heart health.
4. **Nuts and Seeds**: Flaxseeds, chia seeds, and walnuts provide essential fatty acids and can help support estrogen balance.
5. **Berries**: Blueberries, raspberries, and strawberries are high in antioxidants, which can protect hormone-producing glands.
6. **Cruciferous Vegetables**: Broccoli, cauliflower, and Brussels sprouts contain compounds that support estrogen metabolism.
7. **Whole Grains**: Quinoa, oats, and brown rice are high in fiber, helping to stabilize blood sugar levels and hormone balance.
8. **Fermented Foods**: Yogurt, kefir, and sauerkraut promote gut health, which is crucial for hormone regulation.
Incorporating these foods into a balanced diet can support overall hormone health. Remember, lifestyle factors such as regular exercise, adequate sleep, and stress management are also important for maintaining hormonal balance.

GLP 1s are an incretin hormone that has shown neuroprotective properties. Studies have been shown to reduce amyloid -Beta aggregation, tau hyperphosphorylation, and dopaminergic neuron loss. These are key pathological features of Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease. Clinical trials have also reported improvements and cognitive function and reductions in neurodegenerative markers and patients who are treated with GLP ones.

🌆 After Dinner Walks: Boost Your Health! 🌿
Have you taken your after-dinner walk yet? 🥗🚶♂️
Going for a stroll after dinner isn’t just relaxing—it’s packed with health benefits! Here’s why you should make it a part of your routine:
1. Improves Digestion:
A gentle walk can aid digestion by stimulating your stomach and intestines, helping food move through your system more efficiently. This can reduce bloating and discomfort after a meal.
2. Regulates Blood Sugar:
Walking after eating helps lower blood sugar levels. Research shows that even a 15-minute walk can significantly reduce post-meal blood sugar spikes, making it an excellent habit for managing diabetes or preventing blood sugar issues.
3. Supports Weight Management:
Burn a few extra calories and boost your metabolism by taking a walk after dinner. Regular physical activity helps maintain a healthy weight and prevents obesity.
4. Enhances Heart Health:
Walking is a gentle cardiovascular exercise that strengthens your heart. It helps lower blood pressure and reduces the risk of heart disease.
5. Boosts Mood:
Physical activity releases endorphins, which can help improve your mood and reduce stress. A walk after dinner can be a perfect way to unwind and clear your mind.
6. Promotes Better Sleep:
Engaging in light exercise in the evening can help you fall asleep faster and enjoy more restful sleep. Just make sure your walk is moderate and not too close to bedtime.
Scientific Insight:
A study published in the journal Diabetologia found that short walks after meals can reduce blood sugar levels by 12%. Another research from the Journal of Physical Activity and Health highlights that post-meal walking can aid digestion and improve metabolism.
So, lace up your shoes and step out for some fresh air! Share your after-dinner walk experiences and photos in the comments below. Let’s inspire each other to stay active and healthy!
