👉It’s important to understand that this class is not about promoting diets or restrictive eating habits. Instead, the focus is on building a positive body image and preventing the harmful effects of extreme dieting and eating disorders.

👉Dangers of Dieting for Teens: Diets can be especially dangerous for pre-teens and teens. Restrictive eating can lead to nutritional deficiencies, stunted growth, and mental health issues. It can also increase the risk of developing eating disorders, which can have long-term health consequences.

👉Promoting a Positive Body Image: We aim to teach parents how to support their daughters in appreciating their bodies and focusing on overall health and well-being rather than weight or appearance. By emphasizing balanced nutrition, positive self-talk, and enjoyable physical activities, we can help prevent the negative effects of dieting and foster a healthier, happier mindset.

2021 Holiday Card of the Year!!

TRUST - this was my 2021 word of the year.

I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve had to repeat this word to myself “Trust the process. Trust it’s going to work out. Trust Him. Trust. Trust. Trust.”

Oh man, there were days it was so hard to trust that all the hard stuff would one day not be so hard.

Trusting that the trials would be one day filled with triumph.

Trusting the hurt would heal.

Trusting the sun would rise.

Trusting the hard work would be worth it.

Trusting the process.

But trust is the word I knew I needed to lean into this season.

What I learned is that seasons change.
The cold & dark season does not last forever.

I’m not sure what season you are in now, but wherever you are, I hope you can lean in to trust it will all work out ❤️

Today I had to remind myself of this lesson, repeating my own words to myself multiple times. I was excited & eager to share the new card with you & I wanted to make something that would be perfect - but time was against me & so I’ve decided to trust the process & share what I have created ❤️

And so here I am, trusting this post will speak to whoever needs it - the 2021 Foodspirations card of the year is now live!
