We Mean It When We Clean It!

Repeat customers are essential to our company's wellbeing, and we are thrilled that over fifty percent of our business is repeat business. Yesterday we were working in Le Triomphe for a customer who has been with us for over ten years. A few days prior to this house wash, we washed another house in Le Triomphe for a customer who has been with us for about thirteen years. This week our repeat business represents one hundred percent of our business as all five jobs are for repeat customers! So we are extremely grateful for our ability and success in being able to attract and retain such wonderful customers.

Equally important to the wellbeing and success of Exterior Cleaning Services is our referral business. This metric is more difficult to track, but we do know that we gain many new customers as referrals from other customers and acquaintances. As an example, the ten year customer mentioned above referred us to his daughter and son in law who are now repeat customers of about five years. The son in law's law firm is also now a repeat customer as well as one of his law partners. Because of one customer’s referral, we were able to gain not only one, but three new repeat customers. What a blessing!

It is difficult to express how proud and appreciative we are of our repeat business and our referral business. Without these two crucial sources of revenue for our pressure washing business, we may not have been able to make it to our approaching twenty fifth anniversary.

If the rain does not end soon, we may have to borrow these boots from the Houma Visitors Center. We had done a complimentary cleaning on the huge boots several years ago while working for Compass Heslthcare in Houma.

As of February 4, we will have been in business 25 years. It's been a wild ride with many ups and downs and even a few logo and graphics changes. The first three truck pictures are of the first truck we purchased, a 1998 Chevrolet Cheyenne. It lasted over 400,000 miles and about 20 years without any major engine or transmission repairs. It was still running great until its demise in an accident that totaled it. The last picture is our current truck, which is a 2019 Chevy Silverado purchased at Service Chevrolet Cadillac. Not pictured is the 2011 GMC Sierra we had for a few years prior to purchasing the Silverado.

I read this this morning in an email, and I agree so I thought I'd share. Maybe someone needs this thought today.
