Dr. Cain Budds will be giving a solo guitar concert at the UL Lafayette School of Music in the Choral rm. 153 on Friday at 7:00 p.m. The concert is open to the public.
Dr. Budds is the Professor of Guitar Studies for Louisiana Tech. He'll be playing an hour program of Bach, Ponce, Duarte, Sculthorpe and other works. So if you're free, come on out! It'll be good.

Outstanding performance by the Louisiana Music Educators Association All-State guitar ensemble in Baton Rouge this afternoon. Kudos to clinician, Jeremy Garcia and Dr. Greg Robin - who spearheaded the movement to include guitar for the second year! Well done, everyone!

A beautiful day yesterday for an impromptu jazz concert outside of the School of Music. We should do more of this. The students sounded good.
