Check out this restoration we did on Mr. Earls 1984 Raleigh Capri. He wanted to make it more comfortable to ride so we started with putting him a 5” rise city handlebar. We also repacked all the bearings, put some new tires on and made all the chrome shine again. He was so excited when he picked it up he couldn’t stop looking at it. He also rode it home from the shop ❤️These are the projects we love doing the most. So if you have an old bike needing some TLC, come make a pass and let us get you rolling again.

Check out our latest project a 1985 GT Pro World Tour BMX. If you grew up in the 80’s then you know that this was the bike to have and if you did you were the envy of the neighborhood. We powder coated the frame, fork, chain ring and seat post. The wheels were tricky because they had lil cracks and were faded. So we recruited the man of many talents, John Zant to fill in the cracks and he sprayed them with a special paint. Cannon put his magic on all the chrome parts and put all the pieces back together. This restoration came out super rad 🤙🏼 and we’re stoked for our customer who has owned this bike for 40 years.

We’re super stoked on this refurb/custom Schwinn World bike that we finished. Our customer Alyce scored this beauty for a great deal and wanted to get it rolling with mustache handlebars vs drop and of course an overhaul on all moving parts and chrome. Cannon put his magic touch on it and we love how it turned out. So if you have a bike that you want to make more comfortable or clean up, come make a pass and we’ll make your bike dreams come true!

We have two awesome bikes hitting the used bike rack. The step thru is a Globe Vienna hybrid bike. We tuned her up and put new Maxxis Detonator tires, tubes, brake pads and chain. The road bike is a Scott Speedster with a Shimano 105 9 speed group set and Continental Gatorskin tires. Both bikes are road ready and looking for riders. Chuuu weee this restoration came out so nice. We took this one down to the frame and put a lot of love into it. We cleaned up all the chrome, replaced the tires, tubes, cables and chain. We love the old shimano parts that were made in Japan and then cool names they used to have. Check out the before and after pics!

Rainy days are cleaning days at the shop and we have recruited Cannons son, Sawyer to help us out today. We love teaching the younger generation the bike business.

Y’all help me wish this amazing guy, Cannon a very Happy Birthday. He’s always down for a good laugh, hug and can wrangle any project thrown in his direction. We’re lucky to have him at the shop and look forward to celebrating him all week.

Join us tomorrow for a community bike ride through downtown and the adjacent La Place neighborhood. You can get some basic maintenance done before at the Fix It Cafè located at the library until 12pm. The bike ride will follow afterwards and be an easy, family friendly pace.
