Tomorrow, less than 24hrs from now we will be hosting our 2024 Summer Showdown. We are excited to have a long list of racers already registered from multiple states with ages ranging from 4 to… uhhh let’s just say they get their senior citizen discounts. While we would be thrilled to have additional racers tomorrow, thats not the goal of this post.

This message is about reaching out to the countless individuals who are curious about racing. We would love nothing more than for you to join us tomorrow to learn more about our sport and what it takes to become a racer. Whether we see you on the track or in the stands, we can promise you great times with incredible people.

Check out the schedule and track layout below. The layout and format were chosen by our Moore Park Raceway members, highlighting one of the many benefits of a membership.

We'll be racing into the night, so feel free to bring your campers and stay overnight. You’ll have additional chances to hit the track on Sunday.

Spectators are invited to watch the action from the grandstands and even explore the pits, free of charge, to meet our racers and learn about what it takes to join them on the track. Some racers will even have equipment for sale, offering a great opportunity to start gathering what’s needed to become a racer yourself.

We’re excited to announce our Summer Showdown Under the Lights on August 17th! This race is all about having fun and won’t impact the championship points. We’ll start heat one based on a number draw, and have opposite starting order for heat two. Your finishing positions in heats one and two will determine your spot in the final. The rotation for heats one and two will be inverted, and the final rotation will be determined by a coin flip. Our members are currently selecting the layout which will be posted with the schedule soon. We’ll be offering cash prizes for the top finishers. This is just the beginning of a series of fun races shaped by our Moore Park Raceway members.
