FRAN Family Literacy
The staff of the FRAN prgram strives to promote family literacy through cooperative effort of teachers, parents, children and the community.
Our summer session took a break and headed to the Children’s Museum for some fun!
As we near the end of the summer session, our adult education and early education classes continue to flourish, providing a beacon of hope for those seeking knowledge and growth.

Yesterday we kicked off Teachers Appreciation Week with sweet boxes from iCaterEvents. We appreciate Rashida Henry McZeal for making this possible. Our teachers also received wellness baskets given by our Life Skills Teacher Ms. Haley.
Today our Life Skills class created “Positive Affirmation” boards.

At FRAN we offer FREE childcare for THE CHILDREN OF OUR ADULT STUDENTS ages 2months - 5years old that are not enrolled in a LPSS school.
The school year is coming to an end, but it is never too late to register.

Classes are only two days a week. Chose between Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday from 8:30-2:30. The last Friday of each month is a mandatory session for all students from 9:00-10:30.

teaching you different lifeskills that will help you to become an amazing parent.

FRAN Family Literacy is now accepting new students for our HiSET (GED)classes as well as ESL classes. Classes are Mondays and Wednesdays or Tuesdays and Thursdays 8am - 2:30pm. You must be a Lafayette Parish resident and a parenting adult to participate. We also offer free childcare for students who have children who are 2months - 4 years of age. Please call 3375217267 for more information. We have registration every Friday!
