Hi Soul Project Family and Happy Birthday to all my Libra friends-

Today, as we transition into Libra season and the Autumn Equinox, we’re reminded of the eternal dance between light and dark, yin and yang. These are the moments when day and night find perfect equilibrium - a fleeting yet profound balance.

For Libra, the scales are a sacred symbol, representing the quest to harmonize opposing forces within and without. Similarly, the equinox invites us to seek that elusive state of inner and outer harmony.
But true balance is not a static destination. It’s an ongoing negotiation, a willingness to constantly adjust our priorities and perspectives as life’s tides ebb and flow.

I know this dance intimately. In recent months, I’ve undergone a profound personal transformation, shedding an old identity to embrace my authentic self. This has required tremendous flexibility - letting go of who I thought I was supposed to be, and surrendering to a new way of living with deeper purpose and meaning.

In the midst of such upheaval, I’ve learned that balance is not about perfection, but about fluidity. It’s the ability to gracefully meet each moment, recalibrating as needed, rather than grasping for a mythical state of equilibrium.

As we celebrate the equinox and Libra’s reign, may we all find the wisdom to navigate change with poise. May we have the courage to release what no longer serves, and the adaptability to embrace the new.

For in the dance of light and dark, we discover our own path to wholeness.

May you find peace, flexibility, and wisdom during this time of transition.

Is it just me, or has summer flown by? I celebrated another year around the sun and they seem like they are coming faster every year.

September is here and I am excited to announce some in-person offerings and a New Moon practice💫💫💫

I will host a 3rd Thursday community book circle at Laguna Beach Yoga monthly beginning on Thursday, Sept. 19th, from 5:30 to 6:30. www.lagunabeachyoga.com. 

Our first book is The Alchemist, one of my favorites. It is a timeless story of following one’s dreams to find one’s purpose in life.

This month I will start teaching Pilates group reformer classes at FOKUS Pilates in Laguna Beach. This is in addition to my Holistic Wellness Coaching practice, where I offer R.E.S.E.T bodywork, meditation, somatic body movement, breath work, and nutrition counseling. New Moon in Virgo September 2nd.🌙

New moon intentions are an age-old practice of writing out your heartfelt desires and stating them out loud into the sacred space you’ve created. 

As you speak your words into sacredness, you’re letting the universe know what you’re ready to receive and sending out an invitation to the universe to support you.

Lots of change going on over here at The Soul Project.
I was always really resistant to change. I wanted everything and everyone to be the same all the time. I caused myself a lot of suffering because of that. Life is always changing and I am learning to ride the wave and I have had so many wipe outs. And the fear of the wipe out is way gnarlier than the wipe out it self.
A little Thursday reflection over here as I wind down my sweet store front.
So grateful to all the folks coming out to support and say goodbye🙏🙏🙏
