FIGHTING WITH DISAPPOINTMENT

Usually clients who had a bad experience with eyelas extensions don't want to do this procedure again. Most often, girls decide that eyelash extensions are bad in general, that this procedure hurts their eyes and damages their natural eyelashes. Not a lot of people would think that the lash tech made some mistakes and that you can have a completely different experience with this procedure 🤓

❤️If a client came to you after such a bad experience, it's not enough to just do beautiful eyelashes and make sure that the procedure was safe for her. It is very important to tell the client all reasons behind the bad experience she had the first time. At the same time, you can't just tell her that the other lash tech was bad, you need to describe the specific technical nuances of his or her work that led to such consequences and tell her why her natural eyelashes will not be damaged anymore.

Often, not even the high-quality work itself, but the communication skills of the lash tech attract the client. I have been doing eyelash extensions for 4 years now, since 2018.
My soul has always demanded beauty. But I wanted more freedom. Meet new people, talk to them.

🤗 This way I chose eyelash extensions.
I am diligent and calm and I like working with small things. I like monotonous work that I can do for a long periods of time. I enjoy something like that🙌🏻
Right after the training, I started working at home. I bought a couch, a lamp, a chair, all needed materials, and started practicing, looking for models and improving my skills.

At first, I was doing eyelash extensions for free and then for a small price just to cover expenses for materials.
Did everything work out for me right away? Did I want to quit?

ARE RED EYES THE NORM?

Many people think that having red eyes after eyelash extensions procedure is an allergy, or that it is "normal" and it will go away on its own. In fact, in 90% of cases red eyes are the result of a chemical burn of the mucous membrane due to the lash tech's mistakes during the procedure.

Here are 3 main mistakes that lead to such consequences as redness, burning, pain and corneal burn. 😱😰

❌1. patch glued to the mucosa or too close to the mucosa.
In such cases, the client experiences double irritation. First, the patch itself gets in contact with eyes, and the collagen irritates the mucous membrane, and second, due to the eyelids being a little open the glue evaporates directly onto the cornea of ​​​​the eye, causing a burn.

❌2.​Unsafe application
It happens when the lash tech pushes on the area and lifts the upper eyelid with tweezers because his or her hand doesn't have a proper support.

❌3. Pushing on the upper eyelid with a patch.

But that's not accurate

Probably, like any job in the beauty industry, the profession of a lash tech and the extension procedure has become overgrown with myths and legends.

🔹 Myth 1 After extension, your natural eyelashes will start to fall out.
Natural eyelashes fall out daily: on average, we lose from two to six pieces. But we don’t worry about it until we get done eyelashe extentions.
If even after extention the losses do not exceed that amount, there is nothing to worry about - everything is within the normal range.

🔹 Myth 2 Natural eyelashes will break off under the weight of artificial ones.
All people are different, just like their eyelashes. Some people have them thicker or thiner. Some have it longer. What works for one girl may not work for another. But a good specialist will not allow this: lash tech will not do the same extention as that of a friend, if she sees that it is dangerous for eyelashes. He will find the right look and save you from mistakes.

🔹 Myth 3 Allergies are unavoidable
And it's not true.
The first generation adhesives contained substances that could cause a big reaction, while modern adhesives are safer. Of course, no one will give a 100% guarantee - each of us has his own characteristics. But if you follow all the rules of extention, the risks are reduced to zero.

🔹 Myth 4 After removing artificial eyelashes, they lose their bend and length.
Everything is simple here: the extension does not affect the natural structure of the eyelashes, and therefore cannot change it. After removal, your eyelashes will be the same as before the procedure.

🔹Myth 5 A professional eyelash extenions take an hour to get them done.
Ladies - eyelash extensions are jewelry work that takes time. New set of eyelash extension by a professional lash tech will take about 2 hours. Remember: fast does not equal to quality.
