I was so excited when Heather DeLoach Pogue wanted to come in today. It was so fun even Chris was laughing with us😂. Her hair turned out absolutely beautiful.

This was my first time doing multiple colors on this short of hair. I’m just so thankful Sara Jessup Wright is always willing to be my guinea pig.

Hey, I’m back in Lake City. I have openings on Saturday, if anyone wants to get their hair done. Just message me or call me.

So after a lot of deliberation. I have decided to move back to Lake City, Fl. I come back on the 24th of May. So if anyone is interested in getting their hair done. Let me know and I can tell you where I’ll be.

Had a bit of a color correction. She had a bit of breakage as well. She still wanted to keep blonde but we had to cut off the really damaged parts. Turned out really well and she loved it.

I love the challenge of a color correction. I made sure she knew I might not be able to bring her to the color she wanted. We’re dealing with box die color. It took 7hrs just for the color, not including cut and style. She loved it and I’m quite proud of myself.

I no longer put install extensions. For some of my clients I have turned their weft extensions into clip in. So they can still use the hair.
1. It has to be WEFT extensions
2. Has to be real hair
3.Hair has to be in certain shape.

I didn’t do her cut. She has black in the bottom and another shade of red on the top. I made it clear she wasn’t going to get really blonde highlights. She wanted to go to a darker red. She liked how it turned out.

A lot of people are wanting these chunky highlights with the red on the bottom. She loved her hair.

She wanted chunky highlights toward the front and the some regular ones in the back. Turned out really well.

This seems to be the color of the season. I have a few clients wanting some variation of this color. It is quite pretty.

Y’all I just gotta be proud of myself for a sec. I love doing bald fades. They are such a challenge . So this fella comes in and he says,” I know y’all are stylist, but I was wondering if you could do this.” He shows me a picture of a bald fade with longer on top. Y’all I was sweating become had never done a bald fade with this kinda hair. I’ve done it on Indian hair and white hair. But I didn’t tell him that lol. I wanted to see if I could do it. He was so shocked. Hell, I shocked myself . It turned out so good. Go me!!!!

New color and cut for fall.

This fella came in and showed me a picture of the haircut he wanted. I did his hair before and I let him know I was not a trained barber. I can cut it but it might not be as great as the picture. This type of hair is extremely hard to cut. I figured I didn’t do too bad though!

These 2 ladies have been my clients for sometime now. They both said they like my little color in my hair and wanted to try. It just so happened I did them both today. They absolutely love their color and cut. They were both so nervous. I said “ We got this!” This is what I love about my job. Helping people feel good about themselves through their hair.

Y’all I was so proud of myself. This fella came in and asked for cornrows. The girl I was working with didn’t wanna do it. So I told him I’m not a professional braider. I told him it wouldn’t look as good as the picture. He wanted it done anyway. I’ve worked with girls who did braids and growing up, I’d watch some of the girls do it in school. So I mimicked them. He said “Damn, you’re good for a white girl!” We high fived lol. I said I’ll take that👏😂🖐️

Just wanted to even the color out some and get ready for Fall.

Starting a firefighter job. Need to cut the hair. Big change.

This seems to be what the baseball players are wearing this season. Last season it was a straight up mullet. So their evolving I reckon lol.

This was done by another stylist. So I just blended everything and kept as much as the length as I could!

She just wanted a short spunky cut for summer.

So happy how this turned out. She loved it!!!
