Day 9: 7/22 Sculpture Fields

Days 6/7: Headed Nowhere… so Day 4 we noticed leaking fluid from under RV and long story short… Lee-Smith Ford, trucker stop, in TN have been our amazing hosts while we have RV repaired. I gotta say “trucker life” isn’t all that bad. There’s showers, restrooms, laundry, big screen TVs, lounge chairs, UberEats… 😍 I’ll keep you posted when we get back on the road again! Until then, we revel in the patience of the waiting game. Silver Lining: it’s Saturday. Lee-Smith is CLOSED. But our Mechanic, came in on his DAY OFF to continue work on our RV!!! There are truly amazing helpful peeps in this world. 🫶

Day 4: 7/17 Incline Railway, Lookout Mountain, & Pointe Park in Chattanooga Tennessee 🙌 stunning sceneries

Day 5: (I’ll come back round for day 4, photos on phone in RV at a truck shop in TN at the moment 🤣) Met a nice guy today… Thomas with Lee-Smith Ford. RV having a bit of transmission and engine trouble. So two sons and I have temporarily relocated to a tiny cabin while husband went with RV for diagnostics. Fingers crossed for good news in the morning! “Make each day an adventure and take the time to enjoy the journey” – Unknown

Day 3: still grounding& centering in N GA mountains… barefoot in the dirt, swimming in lakes, bathing in sunshine, biking up and down paved hillsides… ❤️

Day 2: near or in Acworth GA IDK (vacation brain activated and hubby driving LOL) Just enjoying time in NATURE 🌱 not worrying about the time ⏰ and being off grid ❤️

Quick stop in Atlanta GA today 🍑 There are some very moving sites & signage honoring many pertinent civil rights protectors & leaders. The birthplace of MLK Jr. A lot of fantastic history here in Atlanta.

Day 9: final night on the road & headed home. Bluff Creek Campground, Russell County Alabama. We drove from Fulton Mississippi and spent the afternoon in Columbus Georgia, just a short walk over the bridge where we parked in Phoenix City, Alabama. You gain or lose an hour of time depending on which way you walk 😘 07.08.2023

Day 7: forgot to snap a campsite picture @ Gulpha Gorge Campground in Hot Springs Arkansas… just having too much FUN sightseeing with family AND friends downtown on bathhouse row. We ran into our Mississippi friends in Arkansas… can you believe we were both vacationing in the spot on the same day unintentionally?!?! That’s how the Universe works.
