The older you get, the closer eternity seems. You never know when the sand is going to run out of the hour glass. So I just wanted to say, live well, walk with Jesus, be kind to others, love and appreciate your family. I'm going to challenge one person out of my family and friends to put this on their wall. Tomorrow is promised to no one.

I want to say something about the spirituality debate. You don't believe in God? Fine. Why is it so important for many of you to mock those of us that do? If we're wrong, what have we lost when we die? Nothing! How does our believing in Jesus bring you any harm? You think it makes me stupid? Gullible? Fine. How does that affect you? If you're wrong your consequence is far worse. I would rather live my life believing in God and serving Him, and find out I was right, than not believe in Him and not serve Him, and find out I was wrong. Then it's too late. There's no shame in my game! I believe in Jesus Christ. He said deny me in front of your friends & I will deny you in front of my Father. HE'S COMING BACK...Greatest man in history, had no servants, yet they called him Master. Had no degree, yet they called him Teacher. Had no medicines, yet they called him Healer. He had no army, yet kings feared Him. He won no military battles, yet He conquered the world. He committed no crime, yet they crucified Him. He was buried in a tomb, yet He lives today. His name is Jesus.

Believe it!

Happy heavenly birthday, Granny! I love and miss you deeply. I'll see you in heaven someday and we'll celebrate with Jesus!

I don't normally post anything political because it's not my platform. But, I just wanted to send up a prayer for Mr Trump, the person in attendance who lost their life, the person who is severely hurt and all of the attendees who are traumatized by this evenings events. Also, let's have the same grace God shows us, and pray for the shooter's family. They lost someone, too. Even if the circumstances were different. There's still going to be one less at the table though no fault of THEIRS! Please remember all of these people! Amen!

Today, I drove to Portland to pick up my sister which was followed by a series of interesting events. I drove all the way down, only to find out her train has been delayed. I thought, that's fine? It happens. So I went to Old Orchard Beach and sat on the beach for 15 minutes when my sister called me and told me her train caught on fire and that she wouldn't make it in tonight. Again, I thought ok, that's fine. Stuff happens. I went back to my car and decided to get some food, only to find that my wallet had been stolen out of my center console of my car. I only had a quarter of a tank left and it wouldn't get me back to Bangor which is two hours away from where I am. I panicked and called Old Orchard Beach PD and was blessed to meet the most amazing Police Officer, Sargent Gerard Hamilton! He greeted me with with kindness and a smile, and was willing to do whatever he could do to try and find my wallet for me (even though I'm sure he has better things to be doing). Then, the most amazing thing happened. He asked how much gas I had to get back, and I said only a quarter tank but I would make my way home somehow. He wouldn't take no for an answer, and followed me all the way to our local 7/11 and filled up my tank for me with his own money! He even pumped it! He told me he has been an officer for 27 years, and he is the most amazing one I've ever met! I'm so thankful for his kindness and willingness to help me find something important to me. I had to share this story because it really touched my heart and showed me a little kindness goes a long way.

Receiving is not about acquiring worldly goods but embracing God's wisdom, peace, and direction. Let us approach God with a desire to align ourselves with Him and receive His blessings with gratitude.
