Jester ( ) from Downey Shelter in L.A was saved from deathrow. Please take a moment and at least watch my 1st video for Sean Strean❤️ Following Jester, I seen firsthand people reaching out to rescues for this boy. At least 4 rescues didn't bother stepping up for him which is very disappointing. Today was going to be my 1st chill home day, in long time, to play catch up. Instead, I spent 3.5hrs driving 153 miles to bring him to safety. I'm even adding his shelter video so everyone can see how he was. Just look how happy this boy is to be free🥰🙏

🐾Today's rescue is Claire ( ) from Devore Shelter. Such a sweet girl at just 2yrs old. Her and I went shopping for dog food, collar and harness. I nice store employee asked to give her a treat. Even though she took it nicely and dropped it, she did turm around and eat it😁 She walked around like she owned the place. Can't believe someone let go of such a wonderful dog. Todays starts the best life🙏

Today marks a new chapter for Katie ( ) & Sebastian ( )two charming senior Akita mixes, as they were rescued from the Apple Valley Shelter. They win your heart with their sweet nature, while maintaining a hint of reserve. Unfortunately, they were listed as strays for an extended period, with an estimated age of over 7 years. It's a delight to see their unwavering bond, and they managed the 2-hour journey to their rescue home with ease. Their ability to connect with other dogs here is an added advantage. Now, they can unwind and enjoy their peaceful days in a comfortable home, away from the chaos of the shelter.

🐾Road trip day!! I drove 570 round trip to Henderson Nevada to take Dash to his forever family ❤️ Check out all his videos from this week with the progress he's made at our home 😁 Every day is a new learning experience for him. I stayed for about an hour and a half to help make sure the transition into his new home would be smoothe. He likes his new fur sister Kora and the family kitties🥰 Just think, this boy almost didn't make it out the shelter alive cause of how terrified he was there. Dash has an amazing family to grow with now🙏🎊

🐾Welcome Ms. SugarPlum 🩷 Rescued from Devore shelter with a medical waiver for a foot injury that's already almost healed. She is listed as 5yrs old. She is unbelievably sweet and just wants cuddles and pets. Scared to death of a leash. When I picked it up, she ducked and hit the ground like I was going to beat her 😢 So upsetting to see these dogs and feel what they've been through. SugarPlum has either had a litter 6 months ago or was overbred. Overall she still has the best demeanor 🥰

🐾Keanu (one of Maui's babies) has landed the best forever home🥰 I drove 1.5hrs out to Huntington Beach for a meet and greet today. It was love at 1st site and a match made in heaven💙

🐾Todays rescue is Dash . Him and all his siblings were dumped off in a field (pic in this post). Eventually all were caught and brought into OC Animal Care Shelter in Tustin. As of today, I am officially partnered with this shelter🎊 Dash was listed rescue only due to him being fearful and snapping. He is just 1yr old and only 25lbs. He had until noon today to be tagged by a rescue and exit by 3pm. Some how this little boy had over 7k shares and not one rescue stepped up for him😳 I started his journey with giving him one of my smoked chicken feet💙 I made it back home at 430pm. Just look at his progress in my videos while just chillin with me. Since he was clearly nervous, I decided to bring out my 7lb pomchi Kesha to give him some confidence. That definitely did the trick🥰. I could finally touch him without him running away. By 530pm he let me give butt scratches and then brush him by 6pm. He doesn't like to be leashed so I'll be working on that. It definitely helps that he's food motivated 😁

🐾Eve ( ) has been adopted by one of the most patient people I've met here ❤ She drove down from Northern California (almost 500 miles) to pick her up and has named her Nixie. She was thinking about Pixie, but she's a little too spicy for that😂 Mama says she has made a little progress by coming out of her crate to eat some chicken while she was sitting outside the kennel throwing a ball for the other dogs (Cedar, Caboose and Sobek). She stood there and looked at them for a while. Nixies mama has all the time in the world to let her decompress and come out of her shell 🙏 It truly takes a special human be willing to accept a traumatized dog into their home❤️❤️

🐾Meet Eve( ) who was going to be euthanized due to being "aggressive" after biting at the catch pole. She is just terrified, confused and now traumatized from being stuck in a concrete dungeon 😪 She got pretty sick on the ride so I made her some boil chicken. Kills me to see dogs in this state of mind after they gave their owners unconditional love to just be tossed like yesterday's newspaper. 🙏

🐾Manny (fna Kovu ) had his 1st medical bath this morning. I also had to cut some of his matted hair. Even tho his skin looks unbelievably raw, it's gotta feel so much better being clean and sprayed down with medicine. I haven't seen him scratch all day 🥰

🐾Todays rescue is Manny (fna Kovu ) Stanislaus Animal Services Agency sent out a rescue plea begging for help or he'd be euthanized Wednesday. I left home 7:40am, got back home with him at 9pm. Almost 650 miles to bring him to safety 🥰Manny is an 8yr old Pomchi with severe skin issues, which is no reason to be killed. He's unbelievably sweet, gentle and just wants to be a lap dog. He'll get a medical bath in the morning and then started on medications. Besides all the major hair loss, what he does have left has mats to cut out too. Stay tuned for updates along this transformation journey 🙏

🐾On top of saving a couple euth dogs for my rescue today, I also transported 4 pocket pitties from San Jacinto shelter to bring them to saftey for another rescue group 🙏 This time a much shorter trip being only 58 miles round trip. All 4 of these girls are so freakin sweet❤️

🐾Welcome Skeeter (fna Timon) to the rescue. He was in the kennel with Kirby at Devore shelter with no one interested in saving him. Just look at that picture of him in the dungeon, I couldn't leave him behind 🙏 He is a 3yr old chihuahua mix, with those long leg's, might be part mini greyhound/whippet 🤷‍♀️ Skeeter is unbelievably loveable. He's already neutered so just going to let him decompress a little before going up for adoption.

🐾Everybody welcome Kirby ( fna Velvet)to the rescue. I saved him from death row today as he was rescue only due to snapping on intake. He's a 2 years old Shih Tzu mix thats matted beyond recognition😪 People shouldn't own dogs that need to be groomed regularly unless they can commit to a lifetime of care. I know Kirby is really uncomfortable with all his hair knotted to his skin😭. I'm on top of it though. I'm taking him to my groomer tomorrow morning 🙏 Just wait for the after pictures. He'll need to be neutered and then can be up for adoption.

🐾I rescued Layla June 14th 2023 from Apple Valley while she was pregnant at the shelter. She gave birth to 6 pups at my house June 17th, 2023. All but one puppy died right away which was unbelievably sad for her. The one pup that survived I named Sally. She was adopted Nov 17th 2023 to an amazing family who call her Oli now☺️ Tuesday June 11, 2024 Layla had a meet and greet that went very well so she was adopted. Her mom absolutely adores her and works from home so she can be spoiled as she should have always been. Layla's mom also has some horses, so she now has new adventures out on the farm😁 She says Layla is not sure of them yet but is fascinated with them. Layla slept with her momma all night. When she got up to shower, she stood on her hind legs with her front legs on the tub almost the entire time. Mom says she'll never be alone in the bathroom again😂

🐶Sophie was seen by my vet today. This girl is truly a hot mess! He did a skin scrap test to rule out things like parasites, and it was negitive 🤗 Dr said that all her skin, hair, eye issues are due to malnutrition, allergies, and her body starving. Sophie received several types of injections and some initial vaccines. ❌️Rabies will have to wait til another day cause with all the other shots and injection she could have a bad reaction. I also had them cut her nails as they were soo long and curling over. Now she can walk a little more comfortably.🥰 Dr wants her to have a medical bath every 5 days with the prescription shampoo. He asked me to buy some oatmeal conditioner also to help with her dry skin. ✅️Sophie was prescribed 2 different types of topical sprays to help with her skin and itching. She also has a couple of oral prescriptions to take daily. Dr asked me to keep her on the salmon food I have and buy some omega 3 pills and supplements. 🫶I have added these items onto Paw of Duty Amazon wishlist as they be continuously used long term as she heals and slowly gets healthy weight on those bones. Sophie only weighed in at 64lbs😲 which for her size and breed should be 90+ I have attached copies of her bills today which totalled 💲500 THIS IS BARELY THE TIP OF THE ICEBERG FOR HER MEDICAL CARE. 💯 There is so much more to address but she has to get healthier and gain some weight first. Sophie is currently in heat but once shes stable, she'll get spayed. I'll add link for donations if you like to contribute to her ongoing medical care.
