It's graduation season and we wanted to recognize and congratulate not only all those graduating from various grades but also the high school students in our area who graduated from the seminary program this year! 🎓

Students in seminary at our church have to wake up very early for seminary class their entire high school career before their regular high school classes. We admire your dedication and are proud of your accomplishments!

Bishop Jason Kaiser (from our Canyon Hills congregation & a Wildomar resident) had the honor of giving the opening prayer at City of Wildomar's Memorial Day Observation at the Wildomar Cemetery this morning.

It was also great to see amazing dignitaries in attendance as well such as Mayor Bridgette Moore, State Senator Kelly Seyarto, Reverend Juan Castro (Gracepoint Church of the Nazarene), among others!

Happy Memorial Day as we remember those who gave the greatest sacrifice of their lives (as did their families) in the service of protecting our freedoms 💓

Happy Earth Day! 🌎

"The earth, a sacred creation, is entrusted to us, and is meant to bless humankind. We are stewards, not owners, of this earth." —Elder Patrick Kearon

Yesterday was the Primary Program for the Lake Elsinore congregation! It was this young child's first time in it!

The annual Primary Program is when children ages 3-11 yrs old come together on the podium during service to teach us about Jesus through word and songs they've been practicing throughout the year 🥲

How have you found that children are great teachers?

✉️Monthly Stake Leadership Message✉️
This month is provided by President Olsingch, First Councilor in the Stake Presidency:

*St. George Temple Trip*
On September 23, 2023, we had a chance to take our family to tour the recently renovated St. George Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, in St. George, Utah. St. George is in Southern Utah and is about two hours’ drive north of Las Vegas, right off Interstate 15. Our family lives in Wildomar, California and so the total hour of driving is about six hours.

*About the St. George Temple*
A little background about the St. George Temple. It was the first temple built and operated for the church in the Western United States. The temple was completed and dedicated in 1877. It is open and is free admission for public tours from September to November 2023. It is recommended that you make a reservation for the public tour, but walk-ins are welcome. For more information about the St. George Temple and how to make a reservation, please click the following link:

*Our Family Experience*
Our reservation was on Saturday at 11am. Considering the heavy traffic between California and Las Vegas on a Friday night, we decided to leave early morning on Saturday. We left at 3am Saturday morning and it was a beautiful drive, because all our kids were sleeping and there was little to no traffic, a beautiful combination for a road trip. Highly recommended if you can leave early in the morning. We arrived in St. George a little after 10am. The temple tour starts at an adjacent church building across the street from the temple. You can find parking at the church building or just on the streets around the vicinity of the temple. You will walk into the church building and sit in the main chapel area. The tour guides will take you in a small group to a classroom where instructions will be given and then a short video of the purposes of temples in general will be shown. After which, you will then be excused to walk a short distance across the street to start the temple tour. To keep the temple floor clean, the volunteers will be putting white booties over your shoes before you enter the temple to begin the tour. They have tour guides inside the temple to guide people, but basically you just walk through and tour the inside from one side to the other side of the building.

We had a wonderful experience as a family touring the temple. Since it was built in the late 1800’s, a lot of the workmanship inside was built by hand, such as the staircase and the railings, the furniture, the carvings on the doors, the hand painted artwork on the walls, etc…. The renovation preserved and made the temple closely resemble what it may have looked like when it was originally built. Our family enjoyed the beauty of the temple, inside and out, but asking each of our children what was most memorable, they all said it was the feeling of peace and reverence felt inside. On the front of every temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the inscription, “Holiness to the Lord, House of the Lord” and of such, it is the feeling of peace and closeness to the Lord, Jesus Christ, that you will feel because it is His house. Our family enjoyed the road trip, not only to spend time together, but to see such a wonderful historical building that is open to the public for a short, limited time. We highly recommend seeing the temple if you are looking for an adventurous trip!!!!
