A few days after Ezra passed away, we received a call about this big, gentle boy named Griz.

For the past month, Griz had been extremely sick. His situation was becoming more and more critical and he was in desperate need of surgery to save his life.
Because of all of you, the love you showed our family and your generous donations, we were in a position to help this sweet boy get the surgery he needed.

It has now been two weeks and Griz is doing great. He is expected to live a normal and happy life, free of pain. He is such a good boy and we were truly honored to have been in a position to help him on behalf of Ezra.

We have been trying so hard to look for the silver linings these past few weeks and to make sense of Ezra’s death and this has been it for us. I wish more than anything that Ezra could still be here with us but because he can’t, we are going to try and help as many dogs as possible in memory of him.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for allowing us to do this. I promise we are trying to do as much good as we possibly can right now and pay forward all of the love you showed us.

A huge thank you to everyone at MedVet Salt Lake City for all of the lifesaving work they do, the compassion they give to both the animals in their care and the humans who love them.

We love you, Griz and I am so happy we get to know you. Thank you for helping us begin to heal our hearts. ❤️
