Winds around Lake Wales are picking up again and around East Polk County. You can tell this isn’t the Lake Wales Care Center’s first hurricane! Moving those box trucks in front of the big glass windows, hopefully will protect them. Debris are all over downtown in the form of mostly palm fronds. City crews have been out cleaning up branches throughout the day.
