It’s Friday and the weekend is here. Remember to take time for yourself to recharge.

This week has been a busy one for me. I have been doing some Summer cleaning and reorganizing. I am trying to get more listings up before school starts again. Here in Florida, we will be starting online again, which last school year became overwhelming. I hope and pray this school year goes a little smoother. I will need to take plenty of self-care days in the months to come. 😅

Today is bitter sweet. Those of you that know me, know I have been struggling with a neurological condition since November 2019. It has been a long hard road but despite my struggles I kept fighting.
🌸
I have a rare condition called Hemifacial spasms. Only 1 in 100,000 are lucky like me 😛. In December I received Botox on the right side of my face in hopes to stop the spasms but instead, I ended up looking like I had a stroke and the spasms continued.
🎀
Last month, I had an MRI, the second one, in fact, in the last 6 months and this time the MRI showed I have a main artery pressing on my facial nerve on the right side. Exactly where I have my spasms.

Today, I spoke to my neurosurgeon, and I am booked and scheduled for Microvascular decompression surgery to remove the artery off the nerve. I am excited to finally get this said and done but a little nervous since this is brain surgery. May 18th can’t come soon enough. I am hopeful to be part of the 90 percent of people that have a full recovery. 🙏🍀

Daydreaming that the world will soon be a much safer place.
