✨Allergy season is here so don’t rub or pull on your lashes. Instead cleanse them daily.

✨Wash your lashes right after swimming. This will improve your retention and keep those lashes fluffy.

A B+A that’s close to my heart in honor of rosacea awareness month ❤️‍🔥

I worked with this sweet bride for 7 months to achieve these results doing a combination of BioRePeels, Jet Plasma, lifestyle encouragement, and of course a customized at-home skincare routine. She was able to walk down the aisle confident and happy in her skin. 🥹👰🏼‍♀️

Rosacea is an inflammatory skin condition that presents as facial redness, flushing, and visible blood vessels. It may also cause red “spots” (most commonly on nose), papulopustular lesions, and in severe cases a thickening of the nose and ocular redness. It can come and go as “flares” or stay persistent if progressed and left untreated.

Rosacea is the result of internal inflammation from different conditions such as an impaired gut, overloaded liver, food sensitivities, and autoimmune disorders. It is best treated from an internal and external approach. In conjunction with skincare, I refer my clients to a Functional Medicine Doctor or Integrative Health Practioner to help identify the root cause of their inflammation.

Some things that can trigger a rosacea flare:
+ stress
+ weakened immune system/illness
+ extreme temperatures (hot and cold)
+ sun exposure
+ lack of sleep
+ alcohol
+ some medications
+ consuming foods you are specifically sensitive to

Like this client, I’ve also struggled with rosacea and know how hard it can be to manage and understand. Flares will still happen. Redness may not completely go away. That’s okay!

If you have rosacea, please know healing IS possible. Your redness doesn’t define you. You’re beautiful. ❤️‍🩹
