We’ve been waiting and hoping for something to change to avoid having to cancel our annual pumpkin event. During the two weeks that the stay in place order is in effect, we will still be open for business as usual! Vehicle repair is essential to making sure everyone can safely and reliably make it to the grocery store, pharmacy, doctor, or work throughout this time.

You can feel at ease that the entire vehicle repair process is currently being conducted in a no contact fashion. Steering wheels, door handles, shift k***s, and other contact points of customer vehicles are constantly being sanitized by our staff to make the process as safe as possible.

Now may be a convenient time to get your vehicle serviced while you may not need to use it. Don't forget we always have FREE (and sanitized) loaner cars. If your vehicle is in need of repair please keep us in mind during this time as we are here to help as always! Please share!

During these uncertain times we would like to extend a helping hand to our restaurant friends and neighbors. From now until April 1, HomeTown Auto will give you a $20 credit at our shop if you order food for pick-up at Las Tortillas Mexican Restaurant in Rosemount. All you have to do is save your receipt and bring it in during your next vehicles service.

*Limit 1 $20 credit per vehicle.

HomeTown Auto's response to Covid 19:

We want our customers to know that HomeTown Auto will remain open as long as we are able to ensure that our customers can still have transportation to their jobs, grocery stores, pharmacies etc. While we are remaining open we have temporarily changed a few things to ensure the community's safety.

If you would like to drop your car off please follow our temporary protocol:

Please drop your keys off in our mail slot located on the service door on the south side of our building. We are limiting who can enter our shop to only employees.

We will be communicating with customers ONLY via telephone and ask that you pay with a credit card via phone as well or drop a check through our mail slot.

When the job is completed we will schedule a pickup time and we will have your keys in your vehicle at that time.

If you schedule and appointment to borrow a loaner car, call us when you are headed to the shop and we will let you know which vehicle we have ready for you. We will have the keys in that vehicle when you arrive to the shop.

Please know, our team at HomeTown Auto is taking Covid 19 very seriously and have implemented many new protocols inside our shop to maintain the safety of our employees and our customers.

New protocols implemented:

Our technicians are wearing nitrile gloves, sanitizing steering wheels, keys, door handles, and shift k***s before and after we work on your vehicle. We have asked our vendors and suppliers to leave deliveries at the front door to avoid unnecessary contact. All employees have strict instructions to stay home from work if they are not feeling well, and we have encouraged them to stay home when away from work.

We take safety very seriously here at HomeTown Auto and are doing everything possible to maintain that as the number one priority. We will be updating our customers if anything changes in the near future.
