This month we are focusing on our caregivers and we are highlighting the importance of recognizing signs of burnout π«Ά Caregiver burnout is a state of physical, emotional, and mental exhaustion. It occurs when family caregivers try to do more than they are able to, often without adequate support.
Burnout can manifest in various ways, including:
π Physical symptoms: Fatigue, sleep problems, and frequent illnesses.
π Emotional symptoms: Feelings of hopelessness, depression, and irritability.
π Mental symptoms: Difficulty concentrating, forgetfulness, and a sense of being overwhelmed.
The hospice benefit is for patients and their families. Read our blog to find out how hospice services can reduce the strain of caregiver burnout.

"These wonderful, knowledgeable caregivers, in each of their own capacity, were the absolute best I could have prayed for to help my dad. They were truly caring of him and always had time for me, whether it was answering questions or just checking in on dad. They always responded promptly if there was a need and went over and above their responsibilities... even making a recording of some old songs for him to listen to on an old MP3 player. What a class act this company is, and I am forever grateful for how they approach their customers and honor integrity of individuals in all circumstances."
