The lineage of transmission of Passai Written by Motobu Naoki, translated by Andreas Quast
Just to pass along info for those who might not know, our beloved doce pares escrima instructor LJ Hachmeister passed away last week. She was only with our school a short time, but was so much fun to learn from. She had such an energy and passion for things. She will be missed.

With the end of daylight savings time and the advent of colder temperatures and earlier sunsets, the final session of TKD at Holbrook Park for this year will be Thursday, 4 November at 5 pm.
From Mr Miller regarding Wednesday classes:
Wednesday at Holbrook has always been (and remains) "arrive when you can, leave when you must," with a 5-7 window. Now that school has started there may be weeks with no attendees. To make things less uncertain for me, I ask that people who will be attending class text beforehand, or on arrival (if they forgot and I'm not there-it's a five minute walk for me).
**Mr Miller is also open to discussion if a different evening other than Wednesday night might work better for students.
As is tradition at MAMA, our black belt candidates are required to write a paper relating to martial arts in some way. We are happy to share these most recent additions with you.
Mrs and Mr Schwettman tested this summer under Masters Rich and Beasley, and Mr Pradhan and Miss DeHerrera will be testing this weekend. (My apologies to Mrs and Mr Schwettman, and the MAMA family, on the delay to get their papers shared)
Please take a few minutes and give them a read.
