This week’s wine special is perfect for the transition from late summer into fall. The 2019 Villarini Nero D’avola is a mid-bodied red wine from Sicily with notes of cherry 🍒, blackberry, plum and hint of herbal sage 🌿 at the finish. This indigenous Sicilian grape varietal produces a wine that pairs beutifully with any Italian antipasto, the Humble marinated olives are a perfect complement. $10 for a glass / $36 for a bottle.
