Congratulations to Masonic Village at Elizabethtown residents Fred and June Pansing, who recently celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary! The couple celebrated with a vow renewal ceremony in the Masonic Health Care Center, lunch and cake. Masonic Village Hospice assisted with their special day by decorating the ceremony space and buying the anniversary lunch and dessert. (Fun fact: June's bouquet here is a copy of her original wedding bouquet!)
Fred and June first met at a dance sponsored by St. Luke's Hospital in Bethlehem. They shared a love of travel and animals, which took them to many interesting places over the years, including Europe and the South Pole. Fred's advice for relationship success is, "Don't go to bed mad," while June recommends, "Give your partner the benefit of the doubt and don't judge right away."
