Manheim Township Public Library is beginning the fall set of Computer Basics Classes.
Level 1 includes the basics of using a computer such as identifying the parts, navigating the desktop, and using a keyboard and mouse. 💻🖱
This course is meant for beginners and will be offered four times this fall.
September 4th at 11:30am and 6:30pm
November 6th at 11:30am and 6:30pm

Come find our pineapple guy throughout the library in this year's Summer Reading Scavenger Hunt! 🍍🗺
Families with kids 12 & under are welcome to participate in the Scavenger Hunt. Every child who completes the scavenger hunt will receive a book, and 10 lucky grand prize winners will receive two Hands-on House passes and an Under the Sea Prize Pack!

Stoney’s Burgers and Fries will be set up in our parking lot for the entire Summer Reading Celebration: Saturday, August 10 from 9:00am-2:00pm.
Kick off your morning with a special Breakfast Burger with bacon, egg, and cheese on top! Or take a midday break from Summer Reading Celebrating with a Smash Burger for lunch. Pair your burger with regular or loaded french fries!

The Manheim Township Police Department's K9 Unit is back for the Summer Reading Celebration! K9 Lorcan and his partner, Officer Gallagher will be giving a demonstration at the end of the StoryWalk® Path at 9:30am on Saturday, August 10.🐕👮

Children love dogs, and these dogs love to listen to children read! Dogs from K-Pets and their humans (otherwise known as trainers) will visit the Children's Library so children can read to them. Each family will get 15 minutes of reading with the dog. Children who have signed up will get the first opportunity. 🐶📚

This program is focused on developing skills to prepare children who will be entering Kindergarten in the fall of 2024. Children will attend this program independently. Adults will be required to remain in the Children's Library during the program and will be invited in the last 5 minutes to review lessons taught that day and skills to be practice at home.
Join us for a beginner-friendly class on crocheting the incredibly popular & versatile granny square! This kicks off a limited series on classic crochet motifs that you can turn into cozies, blankets, sweaters, washcloths, and more!
Crochet hooks and small quantities of yarn are provided. You can bring your own materials if you plan to begin a large project.
