Unfortunately upon my return from the holiday vacation; I broke my foot in 2 places 🥴… This injury will affect the current scheduled grooms and scheduling appointments in the next few weeks ahead.
I will be calling those that I need to reschedule.

I recently learned of a fellow pet care professional who suffered a tragic loss, and while my heart is truly breaking for her, there is a valuable and important lesson for every pet parent that needs to be shared. We tend to overlook the simplest things sometimes, not realizing the potential danger to our beloved pets that stems for the way we humans live.

Help us make sure Kindle's death makes a difference to pet parents everywhere! Please SHARE this tragic story to help ensure no one needs to endure the pain of losing their pet through suffocation. 💔

Sadly, this heartbroken family lost their beautiful 7 year old Border Collie named Kindle on Wednesday when she suffocated in a chip bag. Wendy Jordan, a professional dog trainer, says, "I can’t write now. It’s too raw. I have warned people for years about Pet Suffocation. I’m a dog trainer/business owner by profession. And today, because I left a chip bag on a table, in an area I thought the dogs didn't have access to but knew they sometimes could get through, my best dog of my pack is gone. She opened the gate to the deck, went up the steps, got the chip bag, took it down the steps, even spilling some of the chips, and then somehow accessed the inside and suffocated. She was right beside my gate where she is used to entering and exiting the yard. I’m devastated. I may never buy a bag of chips again. I used to worry about this when my kids were young, and I warned my kids when they left home with their dogs, and yet one freak accident, and I’m the one it happens to."

Even though someone may already know about pet suffocation and take all safety precautions, accidents can still happen. We can only do our best. Kindle was a very determined pup. Her story will help save other pets from this happening to them. Please help us spread awareness. Thank you.

🎉Pet Grooming Assistant Needed🎉

We are looking to add a motivated and hard working assistant to our very busy salon. Must be able to work well with others and handle taking direction well. Be able to handle days that can be loud, fast paced and stressful. Be ok with working with both small and large dogs on a daily basis.

Part-time 25-30 hours per week. No evenings. Occasional Saturdays.

Main responsibilities will include bathing and drying dogs. Handle walk-in nail trims, assist grooming in various ways such as pre clips, assist in holding and comforting pets as needed. Must be able to lift large animals with assistance.

Lots of cleaning! Laundry, vaccuming, mopping, crate sanitizing, wiping down walks, cleaning bathing area.

Experience is preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
