Yesterday I had the SO MUCH FUN putting my merchandising skillzzz to work at for my friend Pam Felpel. Pam is a vintage dealer extraordinaire, and has a business called . Pam needed a little help bringing her booth display vision to life, and I was happy to roll up my selves and get to work! After a few hours of re-imaging her space we created magic.🥳 Enjoy these before, during and after photos. Let me introduce you to “Ghost Kimono”
I crafted this diaphanous beauty from vintage dresser scarves and handkerchiefs. The sleeves were the tricky part for me. But after a few goofs it came together so nicely. You can find this kimono and so much more at my booth on May 5th

This was a fun custom project I just finished. My lovely customer gave me a stack of vintage kantha quilts, and another jacket she liked, to loosely use as a pattern. It was a fun challenge to figure out the pattern, and a delight combining the colorful quilts into this comfy jacket. If you like stream of consciousness sewing, and “thinking outside of the box” fashion ideas, then I’m your gal!!! I’d love to work with you on your custom idea. Just message me💖

Could a few select craft shows be on the schedule for My Aunt Debbie in 2024? Interacting with you, and seeing your smiling faces is so important to me and my business philosophy. It’s been awhile since I put myself “out there”, so please tell me your favorite shows and venues, so I can start my 2024 vision board💖. The pillow cover is from Transylvania, the afghan is thrifted of course, and I made the rocking chair pillow from my Nana’s vintage fabric stash. Oh and guess what?! Yesterday’s $ saving sale in my stories was so much fun,(THANK YOU!) that I’ll do another one this afternoon with some fun clothing and purses. So keep an eye out!!

I’m delighted to personalize your jewelry so it’s exactly what you want. On this pair of Good Witch Bad Witch earrings, the customer asked for lever back ear findings instead of French hooks, and silver edges instead of gold. Your wish is my command!!!

It fun what you find rummaging around in the basement.
Pic #1. This was my very first My Aunt Debbie sign. Having it printed was a big deal for me. I’m taking it apart to use the wooden hanging frame for another project; because it’s fun to use what you already have. I still love a good log font😻 (this sign hung in the window at Mommalicious BTW).
Pic #2. I used the wooden frame from my old sign and some wood clamps to hang this fish printed on butcher block paper. I bought this on the streets of NYC many moons ago from an artist named Layman. He used wood from the subway to make the prints. I wonder if he’s still around?????
