37 Homestead Village residents recently returned from a trip to the Finger Lakes! Highlights included: a delightful luncheon cruise on Seneca Lake; wine and cheese tastings; a guided tour of the home of the first Women’s Rights Convention, Seneca Falls; a visit at Willard Memorial Chapel, the only Tiffany Chapel in the world, for an organ recital and presentation; and fantastic dining experiences one of which included an informative wine tasting and cooking demonstration at the New York Kitchen.

This week, our residents enjoyed a trip to the Ladew Topiary Gardens! Named "one of the top 5 gardens in North America," Ladew Topiary Gardens is located just north of Baltimore Maryland and spans over 22 acres surrounding a beautiful Manor House. On the way home, the bus stopped at Jarrettsville Creamery for an ice cream treat! A great day for sure!

Homestead Village is proud to present our first Thriving and Inspiring talk featuring Rocky Bleier. Meet a 4-time NFL Super Bowl Champion and help raise money for Homestead Village Endowment Fund for Benevolent Care.

The event will take place on Friday, August 9, 2024. Tickets are available for a VIP Dinner Experience will be offered at Homestead Village from 4:30-6:30 p.m. prior to the presentation.

The Feature Event will begin at 7 p.m. at Clair Hall at Millersville University.

Proceeds from this event will benefit the Endowment Fund for Benevolent Care at Homestead Village.
