Meet the team: Mr. Gregg Boyd II!
I am Gregg Boyd II, I was born in Washington, D.C. but raised in Seat Pleasant, Maryland. I graduated from Largo High School. For as long as I can remember, I had a passion for basketball and helping others. These two passions just so happen to go hand-in-hand. Most basketball teams have a “shot caller,” but I prefer to collaborate with my teammates and make the play when it counts. As it turns out, I am a natural-born leader both on and off the court. I grew up as a participant in my father’s program Men with Vision Association. This program seeks to give young men a sense of discipline as well as give us a head start to a bright future. Now that I am older, I have been given more responsibility within the program. I currently serve as a project manager where my job is to recruit, organize, and motivate participants. Currently , I am a senior, majoring in Business Management at Tuskegee University. I was awarded a basketball scholarship and have maintained a 3.0 cumulative GPA. My academic achievement earned me a spot on the Dean's List as well as membership in the National Society of Leadership and Success. Meanwhile, my rigor on the court earned me titles including 2020 SIAC Player of the Year, 2020 BCSN player of the year, 2020 BCSN First Team All American, and 2021 preseason player of the year. I have also cultivated many meaningful relationships with professors, coaches, and other staff members who helped me throughout my college journey. Because of these experiences, I aspire to work diligently as an HBCU supporter. I look forward to venturing into entrepreneurship and giving back to my hometown as well as Tuskegee.

While obtaining this degree, she worked as a teaching assistant, which helped her to realize her passion for teaching on a collegiate level because of how instrumental it was for her to see a black woman in that space.
