100 cookies for our neighborhood party. Plus another 50 for this weeks kids halloween parties. Busy week baking and decorating last week!! Felt nice being back in the kitchen 🙂.

First communion cake and Italian cookie trays (all my old family recipes!) pizelles, muscardini, amaretti, rainbow cookies, biscotti, and butter cookies all from scratch.

I also got to try a new flavor for my baptism cake - butter pecan cake - very dense but delicious flavor! And lemon raspberry is still one of my favorites;). And my daughter made vanilla/vanilla - her favorite

While I was out on break I watched a lot of videos about pallate painting flowers - I really wanted to try it and my daughters baptism cake was a perfect excuse! It was also a fun technique to learn with my oldest daughter who also loves making cakes. Here’s my first attempt at pallate flowers :). It feels good to be back up and baking again…. More coming soon

I am currently taking a short break from my bakery because I am baking something extra sweet! Baby #3 coming jan 5th 🙂 Will be back up and running in springtime! Accepting orders for may and later.
