One of the highlights of World Reach Week is World Feast where students, faculty, staff, and missionaries enjoy community centered around a culinary journey around the world!

Fall 2024 World Reach Week is underway with students asked the question “Where Do You Fit?” with the great commission to reach the world with the gospel.

Bill MacLeod, keynote speaker, and mission agency representatives are challenging students to focus on more than just their majors! As Mr. MacLeod shared, “All believers ought to be preparing how they will fulfill Jesus' request given the skills, experience, and expertise He has provided us.”

Sixteen students from our School of Education are about to embark on the culminating experience of their program, student teaching! Please pray for them as they go out and impact the next generation of learners!

"This mystery highlander is from the class of 1961. He later returned to serve on the faculty, eventually served as the dean of enrollment management and provost for academic affairs, and was given the designation of professor emeritus when he retired in 2006. He is actually the brother of another professor emeritus from the School of Education, who was a mystery highlander in a previous issue of the magazine."

Our University verse of the year is Galatians 2:20: "I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God who loved me and gave himself for me."

This will be the foundation for our endeavors and our conduct this year as we strive to follow the One who has made a way for us!

We are excited and thankful to announce that Cairn University has received a reaffirmation of full accreditation from the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. This continues the tradition and excellence of accreditation since 1967.

This year's Golf Classic was a success! The event was held at Stonewall in Elverson, PA, and 188 golfers helped to raise $130,960 for The Cairn Fund.

Over his almost two decades as host of the UK-based radio program and podcast Unbelievable?, Justin Brierly facilitated countless thoughtful conversations about faith and unbelief between some of the world’s foremost atheists and Christian apologists. In his book The Surprising Rebirth of Belief in God (and his podcast by the same name), Justin explores what led to the popularity of the so-called New Atheists in the early 2000s, as well as the internal conflicts that led to the movement’s implosion. He joined Dr. Keith Plummer to discuss that and why secular thinkers such as Jordan Peterson, Peter Boghosian, Louise Perry, and Tom Holland, to name a few, are finding it increasingly difficult to ignore the Christian story’s relevance to questions of science, history, culture, and our search for meaning.
