We have a position open for an OFFICE MANAGER FT M-F 8-4:30 40 hours per week! We are looking for someone who is focused, self motivated, can work independently without direction once shown our system, looks for tasks to complete during down time, has a take charge approach, and someone who can work within a diverse office setting. We have a very diverse and liberal approach to social services. We believe in helping those in need with no questions asked or judgment placed.

EFFECTIVE SUPERVISION SKILLS ARE A MUST!!! It’s a major plus if you have experience working in Home Health Care CLS and respite services.

Responsibilities would include but are not limited to:

Supervision of current office staff
Recruiting new staff and scheduling them with new clients
Filing
Copying
Scheduling
Assisting with billing
Tidying up office every day
Answering phones
Building a relationship with our clients over the phone and fully understanding their needs is very important!
Building a positive relationship with our staff!

As professionals, care partners, or people responsible for the care of others, we need to manage the demands of caregiving without compromising our health and wellness. If one doesn't learn to manage the stressful demands of caregiving, they can experience "burnout" when there are too many demands on their energy, strength, or resources over a period of time. Attendees will learn how to recognize signs of caregiver burnout, compassion fatigue, and stress, how to address and avoid burnout, and how to prioritize self-care. This event will feature Martha York, LBSW. Martha is the Community Education Coordinator for Well-Wise Services Area Agency on Aging.
